cash injection isn't a good thing lmfao

that means they are not making enough money to keep the company alive

the owners are multi millionares with rob moore alone worth 200 Ms + no esports team makes enough money to keep the comapny alive r u ok

the business will die if it never makes money and relies on rob to inject money every couple of months lmfao.

every org does this, sen just announces they do

Not necessarily. Yes every org does this but most organizations also make money from their various ventures. Sentinels were not making money. Infact they were at a loss. They had to rely on crowdfunding which also wasn't successful enough. Now the money is only coming from Rob moore's pocket which isn't a good thing. If they don't start making money, they will indeed go broke

sentinels are easily one of the most well off orgs in valorant, they just scammed a bunch of kids

Honestly in terms of profit they are probably one of the closer orgs to being profitable in valorant compared to the other newer orgs

That isn’t a good thing lmao, that’s coming out of the owners pocket

thats what every esport team does no ? lmao... and theyll make double that whenever Skins and all the ingame items release lol

#7

No because thats not sustainable, SEN just have rlly rich owners but the org isnt making nearly enough money and prolly would have shut down by now if it had less committed owners

#10

they wouldnt have shut down but just not as many ccs or players/teams as they would now, they just publicly announce what they do.... they also dont have 30 brands on there team jerseys like most teams do.....

in a few months it will be a return of an investment.

what does this mean? are they like broke broke? im confused

#8

Frags

people overreacted because they said theyre losing more money then theyre making and they posted a budget or whatever saying this is what they would need from " crowfunding " to stay afloat. they arent going broke and doubt they ever will

this just means the MAIN investors of sentinels just poured more of there own money in order to keep going and be able to expand to more CC's or more teams in different games or even a GC team or Academy Team

#11

What it means is the org is relying on the owners money instead of the money it generates

#19

literally every org itw even 100t and NRG still rely on investments lol, just not public, they'd make more money if they did though, its just shady af

True none of them are sustainable but both of the orgs u just mentioned dont spend 700k a month

#34

100t and nrg probably spend more, theyre bigger orgs, dont be daft

#38

Yes, they probably do but then 100t and NRG likely have much higher and more diversified revenue. The issue is Sen are spending big and bleeding money at an exponential rate for their revenue generation. Almost all orgs lose money yes, but other said orgs dont lose at such a insane margin. The possibilites are simply 1) Sen grows as an org and becomes somewhat sustainable, 2) they continue to keep it on life support at this state, 3) the org cuts down massively, 4) its abandoned and dies.

They pretty much were broke so the owners gave them 3.4 Million USD to keep running and not shut down

Loud has profit even after going to NA with high costs

#15

Loud is one of the only sustainable orgs, wait 5 years they will be one of the only orgs who wont have to adapt

They won’t, they have good sponsors the biggest org in brazil and not that many to come by as is , so sponsors are willing to give them more money, it’s not like they’re winning themselves they just have very good sponsors and a big fan base to back it.

the way they grow their fanbase and spend on the game just means they will likely grow as the years pass by

#36

I'm sure they will grow more and more, Loud is only 4 years old (created in 2019) and is already one of the largest organizations in the world, and probably the largest in terms of numbers on social media, YouTube, etc. the only thing that limits them is probably the language issue, people from other countries don't usually support organizations that don't speak English

Cash injections are very normal is esports, majority of orgs do not make profit.
Still is funny to make fun of sentinels for being "broke" though.

#31

wait then what's the incentive regarding keeping an org alive if the majority of them are operating at a deficit? are they banking on the fact that in 10 years esports might finally become mainstream and treating it as a long term investment?

#32
Shawn23

its not that there running in the negatives most orgs just make enough to stay afloat...no one makes a org to make money they do it for the fun and love I guess.... some do make profit but most are just flatlining it lmaoooo

#33

bruh im pretty sure they're in it for a profit. some of these big orgs are legit companies with parent companies overseeing and managing them with CEOs and shit. im just confused how they're making money

#39

no... unless theyre a Top Team and winning events or have a big fan base there running at a flatline bro expecially after crypto went to shit
