people talking abouy FUT/NAVI take, NAVI will not be the 2022 FPX, and wait until FUT vs RB Home ground teams not just TH
FUT will start great but the firepower of VIT/TL will make them away and i think GIA can hold the consistent

maybe i'm overrating them but, Fit1nho raze is one of the best rn, Redgar is a good IGL and a good smoker isn't cracked aim but GIA needed a smoker and a IGL with Rhyme out

i mean TL and VIT firepower will eat FUT and GIA is better anyways
lit FUT had a lucky year, the important match for Masters was VS VIT(6 in league) and GIA vs NAVI(2 in league) and FUT won in a match where both had qualified and really didn't play for anything

also say that prob FUT will get 3/4 at GIA group of champs, and GIA get 2 in FUT group

Fut was luckier but GIA was at the same level or even better

fut made it out of groups in champs without cned, and giants didn't even make it out of groups. Now that Fut have cned, they will be top 3 for sure. Giants is only getting a small upgrade. For vitality, Sayf is cracked, but cender and destrian are mid. idk about runner and kicks bc I don't watch emea t2. Also Navi's roster won a master's so I think they will be better for sure.

the upgrade of GIA is not REDGAR
is Hoody free to play what he wants, Raze meta making Fit1nho one of the best duelist and a full Smoker getting the team

Gia was never more consistent than fut and now fut got a good upgrade

FUT had a easier group at champs (EG, T1, FPX) and will prob not qualified on GIANTS group (KRU, EDG, PRX)
also say that GIA had to front NAVI(top 2 in league) for qualify to masters and FUT against VIT(top 6 in league)
GIANTS was clearly better than FUT just FUT was luckier

FUT went OT against EG and did pretty good overall(also dont forget some shots while flying)
In emea vct gia got fucked up by navi and fut has beaten them so fut also had better performance there
Lock in both teams did fine and fut almost upset 100T, the game was super close if you were watching
But gia did pretty fine against nrg so I guess its 50/50
Overall fut had a better year

cause they need to free Hoody out of Smoke and start full flexing(like when he carried G2 to Masters)
Nukkye, Hoody and Cloud are the aimers and Fit1nho top 3 razes of EMEA

sh1n was used most of times as an initiator in KC 2023, but during all of his career before he was a smoker. Considering his consistency, I guess it could be a good move to make him go smokes on most maps

Plus, I don't think you're the most suited to say whether it was a bad move for roles or not, because it's pretty easy to guess why it will not be a bad move, roles considered :
Every structure learns from their past mistakes, and role issues were a big part of what made KC that bad in 2023. They signed two star players, and went low budget on everything else.
The result : ScreaM wants to take over the project, the coach has few control over the players and has no relevance in the matches. That made the team have no synergy and role issues right in the beginning. Nivera is an AWPer that couldn't use Jett, they never knew where to put XMS since he used Chamber in MAD Lions, and sh1n had to fill(because XMS used to be a smoker before Chamber, and because Omen was next best choice for AWP in the comps SCREAM wanted).
Of course most of this is speculation, but I bet I'm REALLY close to the reality.
What did they do : They got Engh, who has a huge importance and voice in the making of the team, and they trialed a huge amount of people, to make sure the roles and profiles corresponded what was necessary. It took so much time that they were one of the last teams in EMEA to lock their roster, if not the last.
And you're still talking about role issues ? Come on, KC staff aren't robots.
