Is this challenge even possible for EG at this point? You might like the team but this Org is literally unsupportable and they always have been even before the partnership league.

I feel like they are actually gonna succeed and have them all take the pay cuts. You either leave or you take the pay cut but if you wanna leave someone needs to pay millions. Business wise it’s really smart

idk how the finances work but id assume these players are losing max 30% here, and not demon1. If they really wanna fix their issues letting go of their 6-10 men and downsizing on maybe Ethan’s contract since his is probably the biggest

well nah they wont be the worst org since they at least pay (still a horrible org mind you)
t2 in EMEA has had "orgs" that do not pay AND get the players kicked out of the league (since the org owns the spot)

Can someone explain to me this?
As far as i know the contract states that each player plays for a certain amount of money for a year or two maybe. if the player or the org want to part ways one of them have to pay the release clause. if one of them doesn't want to end the contract early it's not gonna work.
My question is what is the problem there? Why are players leaving EG ? Players can say no we have a contract you are obligated to pay us the money in the contract we are not leaving before the end of the contract and we are not accepting the pay cut if you want us out you have to accept a smaller buyout or pay us our money

There are severance clauses on both sides of the contract so the org can pay x amount of agreed upon money and cut the players.
They are internally pressuring the players to accept the pay cut or stay in contract jail until all the other franchise teams are finalized as they will have no other franchise team available to them.
Another scummy thing they could do as EG was a 10 man team for sure they will have different amount of salary for the main and the reserve roster so they can just put players on reserve roster salary and not sell them.
