I have 2 daughters

A trans player is not going to make my daughter feel like she can be the best.

Trans players being the best in GC does not give my daughters hope.

Nothing wrong with being transgender but when my daughters cousins say “I will always be better than you at games because I am a man.” I wish I could point to GC and say “that’s not true.”

But I can’t.

Yeah, but trans players make up only small percentage of gc players. There are still cis gc players that could provide some hope for a young player hoping to go pro one day.

This argument is dumb and very easy to be refuted. Game Changers is made for women to compete with each other in a SAFE ENVIRONMENT until they can be as good as tier one players. Do you think that women can grow in a environment with weirdos and creeps? Posssibly, but its a lot harder. (not everyone, but enough to compromise their experience). The point is not to your daughter feel the best but to one day become the best of the best.

It's so hard to know who is who and what counts as being trans/nb. I feel like it sets a dangerous precedent for the future of GC if there are men who are malicious and try to get into GC. To make everything simpler it would be just nicer if you kept everything to: Biological woman plays GC, Biological men can't play GC. But Western culture is so far from it that the precedent is allowed. I'm not creating hate and want people displaced but the future state of GC doesn't look good if there aren't set precedents.

I also have a daughter, and your point makes no sense.

GC Champs 2022 was won by an all biological female team (no trans/non-binary player on roster). My daughter is too young to understand Valorant, but she likes G2 mimi (I assume due to her long blond curly hair).

Having trans woman players in GC is not in any way proving to be a detriment to biological female players. Stating otherwise might require some inner introspection in regards to pre-conceived concepts clashing with reality.

Gender isn't something that falls under the science of biology. It falls under social sciences. So if one identifies themselves as a transgender woman/man, the biology doesn't matter.
