its bizarre how many frauds got in NA franchising and did jack shit:
Take for example SEN sykko and dephh - fucked the roles a lot. Put a world champion controller to a sentinel role, and a world champ initiator to controller
C9: they got vanity leaf and xeppaa who were ex teammates in CS, lets be honest now, Vanity aint built for tier 1, and xeppaa was mid this season. Not to forget that zellsis was added which was largely due to Vanity's influence; zellsis isnt good enough for tier 1. when they dropped yay and vanity, and picked up jakee and runi with literally no tier 1 experience, they shocked everyone

Hot take: 100T asuna isnt fit for tier 1 either, (a lot of yall are gonna give me shit), but there's way better flex players in NA T2. he's just a poster boy for 100T, so he's made it this far.

Look at EG: picked up demon1 who also had no experience, I believe their only franchise purchase was ethan and the rest were already in EG roster and they won champs
TLDR: Many fraud players about to exposed cause orgs want cheaper players, which is good and gives opportunity for T2 players.

he's nowhere near s0m imo. s0m was top NA's most consistent player this year (excl. EG players).. i just find zellsis average. initiators like nismo, trent, verno, eeiu are better than him

c9 was a good team only team they lost to were DRX just needed more time as a team c9 just too poor. 100t needs to stop tryna sign tier 2-3 players and thinking it will work like EG or PRX or whoever. SEN should look better if they keep the core 4 they will be more comfortable with each other + I assume they won't change there roster every couple days and will have a real IGL. fuck NRG. EG good job

i think the last year situation is very different from this year, firstly, champs 2022 was mid sept then right after the partnered teams were announced and mid oct it was initial roster lock (?) so teams are pressured to make a roster as fast as possible with those players who made internatl events high on priority list. they just scrambled to get the “best” ones they could get maybe without tryouts because of limited time and org competing for the best players

u guys r hating on asuna because you think hes a "poster boy". If you have actually known, this is like his first year mostly playing initator, so obviously you wouldn't expect him to shine. Not only that, if you look at his raze this year(although not many) its pretty clear that he still mains duelist. Not to mention, he played more phoenix/reyna/raze than skye. Yall remember the last time he played reyna or phoenix? what, 2021?
Deserves T1(put in a place where we all knew he wasnt ready for-hes only played 106 maps of initator....

he's definitely not a better raze than jawgemo, jaw literally diffd jingg in champs final... comp stats dont prove anything. he played 1 game of raze during season and his stats were mid af

and i think if jett is not a meta (might be or not), teams will favour chamber more than raze cause of oping.. maps like bind and split she has always been playable

Victor, Zekken, and jawgemo are objectively a better raze player than asuna.
Sure you might think he’s a good duelist but his best duelist raze can only be played on so many maps, I don’t see phoenix Reyna being played.. he needs to fix his shit up asap cuz ranked stats don’t mean anything even tho he’s smurfing ppl on ranked

asuna definitely doesnt deserve it considering how the entire 100t squad has been changed but he somehow kept his spot despite the results.

rest of it is just you reacting based on results.. alot of good teams who have done great this year played around with roles.. i mean demon1 plays smokes aswell - if it didnt work everyone would've blasted eg for it. otherwise its masterclass. with changing metas, new agents and maps.. switching of roles is bound to happen.

I think both 100T and C9 have initiator role issues with xeppa/zellsis & asuna/derrek.
Until they sort out who is their main initiator, they will fall short.

Imo you could mayyybe keep Asuna around another year unless u can get nismo or trent cause we are entering a raze meta and Asuna is insane on raze, but if he has to play initiator again then def boot him, also if 100t doesn’t perform again next year then he should go

For C9, mce used to be coach for chaos roster, so yeah there's that too.
Also EG bought bcj and icy and screwface. But I mean only bcj might have cost something, the other two were free agents.
