Is it too late for CS pros to transition over?

Been keeping an eye on s1mple account and he's on a 10 game lose streak in asc-imm tier.

So was wondering if current valorant is too far ahead for cs pros to adapt to. Even looking at stewie2k he's been consistently grinding act after act like legitimately 2nd most games out of all imm+ and still not a very notable talent imo.

Honestly they're just too used to their game, it's not too late to transition to either game as long as you really put effort into learning the way of playing the other game and the differences between each other.

I really think s1mple just tried convincing himself his aim was enough to win and just started queueing.
Also he just plays for fun/bored if i'm not wrong so i don't think he really cares

Honestly nowadays is harder to get radiant only by AIM and having no game sense, 1.5 year ago you were able to do it.
I say because I used to be mono brim controller without any lineups and used to be stuck at Immortal1-2, I learned sova lineups (being a nerd) and in like 2 weeks studying I was able to get radiant and stay at top 200-300 every act since then, I think my AIM is way worse than before but my gamesense become way better plus with sova I help my team more.

This is exactly what i typed.

Pros early used to get Radiant by aiming, now they can't, it's why you see so many Radiant buddies from Ep2 & Ep3 respectively, those were probably the easiest acts to climb since they gifted the rank.

Nowadays the game has a lot of strategy/util usage to be just an aim game, also reason why SEN fell off after Reykjavík.
I just started playing the game some months ago and aim has just gotten me to Immortal 1, i've had to do a lot of research and analyze some VCT plays to actually understand why i was losing so much

Yeah, my old friends used to be Radiant in act2-4 now they can barely hit Immortal (no game sense, no nerd, no main character to study and grind)
Now is a MUST to be a nerd in at least one role otherwise you're dommed

Even KJ players need to learn about 3-5 setups in each bomb to be able to grind properly to Radiant (to guarantee it) or having a GOAT valorant gamesense + AIM

Back in days sentinel ppl just used their setup randomly without thinking and aim diffing = radiant

Depends on how supportive the org does to support them. T1 Carpe moved from OW and been given so much support to become player decent enough to qualify for international events. Same could apply to player from different games, it’s whether they gave the opportunity or not and how much dedication player would commit to learn and improve in valorant.

No, it's not too late. It's possible. There will still be players who start to play this year who will hit radiant in a few months.
