This matchup has the most question mark so far.

posted 1 month ago

idk who to root for here, I'm torn. Loud win = way more viewership but EDG win = much more hype for masters shanghai and the chinese scene in general.

the silver lining for heretics is they are still waiting on wo0t, he has potential to be insane.

posted 1 month ago

anything is allowed in the remainder of the swiss. it's all up to chance.

posted 1 month ago

Isn't this the 2nd match of the day and EDG vs GenG are first?

posted 1 month ago

every 1st seed beating 2nd seed regardless of region means regional strengths are so close.

posted 1 month ago

Somehow I have a feeling like this will be a decisive victory for GenG. I dont mind either team winning though.

posted 1 month ago

let's not get carried away here. Plat chat is still right, APAC has yet to win an international trophy (masters/champs). Im assuming they excluded china if they did say that because it's a brand new league.

posted 1 month ago

GenG is looking nice but a Lakia needs to pick it up a bit. He's a worrying sign for geng atm.

posted 1 month ago

it's not rigged, sliggy talked about it recently and also rob moore (sentinels ceo) also talked about it. Their draws are not broadcasted but you can request to go see it live in person.

posted 1 month ago

KC vs SEN can't happen because they're both 1st seed. same with FPX and loud.

posted 1 month ago

KC vs FPX
Loud vs GenG
PRX vs EDG
SEN vs Heretics

Most power ranking I've seen put loud and geng in the same tier, similarly with prx and edg. Can you craft a better swiss opener?

posted 1 month ago

any team winning matrid would be so hyped with the only exception being FPX tbh.

SEN/KC/Loud for clout
PRX/GenG/EDG for first international win for their respective region
Heretics for home crowd hype

give potter this roster and she would start a dynasty

DFM is going to wipe the floor with team secret, quote me on this.

posted 2 months ago

riot devs were spanking shroud and friends when the game first came out. Not only that but we know that they hired an ex pro in yaboidre.

posted 2 months ago

what a crazy match. Where were you when SR won? I was reading the updates in Bren's twitch chat.

posted 3 months ago

I think people are expecting too much out of NRG. I think Ethan/demon1 will be solid but victor/crashies/marved are not the best in their roles for a while.

posted 4 months ago

I'm starting to see why M80 never partake in any off season events...

has nats' lurk heavy playstyle been exposed?

I see, he still doesn't take "no" for an answer.

Does anyone know if sliggy or anyone else got permission to do watch party on twitch? I've been hearing it's exclusive to Afreecatv but unsure.

posted 5 months ago

shahzam on EG? interesting...

In sideshow's video on the g2 picking up the guard he said that even in T2 the guard has innovative strats that t1 org uses.

my bad, thought you meant valorant had malware

edit: after reading his comment he could mean that he got malware from elsewhere and it could affect his performance in valorant. If so I apologize and retract my statement, otherwise my statement still stands.

Not sure if trolling or just stupid.

Hello,

Valorant's Vanguard Anti-Cheat was developed and published by Riot Games, which is based in Los Angeles, California. While Riot Games may be owned by Tencent in the People's Republic of China, they are located in L.A. This means that Riot Games has to comply with the laws of the City and County of Los Angeles, the State of California, and the United States of America.

While the People's Republic of China has engaged in attacks on US government agencies and busineses, these seem to be for political or economic reasons and not targeted towards gamers or games that I am aware of.

If the People's Republic of China were to engage in hacking through something like Valorant's anti-cheat module, this would result in all sorts of economic, legal and political repercussions against Riot Games, Tencent and the PRC government. This would likely extend far beyond the United State to whatever countries Riot Games and Tencent do business in as well.

That means that there is a risk to the economy of the People's Republic of China. It seems very unlikely that the government would engage in such activities, as the likelihood for collecting anything useful is quite low commensurate to the level of risk of risk in destroying an $87 billion dollar business in their own country.

Of course, it is always possible that there are security vulnerabilities which could be exploited in the Vanguard Anti-Cheat software, just like software from any other publisher (Apple, Microsoft, etc.). But it would be foolish of the People's Republic of China to target one of their own companies and risk having it sanctioned around the world like Russian companies currently are for the sake of gaining some data from gamers, which is unlikely to have any commercial, economic or political value to their government.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

There are things called false positives in antivirus or malware removal software but my guess it's a CS frog or cheat developer trying to make other people lose confidence in vanguard anti cheat.

The first sova ult charge should move from left > right or right > left especially when you're planting and you're just ulting blind. It's much harder to dodge that way. subsequent sova charges you can try to track if the initial ult hit someone.

if PRX can win 50% pistol from here on out I think they take it.

They're 2-8 so far vs EG in playoffs.

JINGGG's last dance, APAC first win, much better story

Main stream 100%. I'll watch the streamer's reaction afterwards.

Just quickly took 1 picture, any DM will result in that way. I don't agree or disagree with the allegations but the person who posted that proof is clearly wrong.

so I looked at the proof and this one is clearly wrong

If you go in discord and look up all your private messages, the banner always overlap like that. And the other prove that person posted I have no idea what to look for.

Can you show me the prove, it's not that I don't believe it, I just like to see it for myself. thanks.

Average jonas has always come across as a very disingenuous person to me. The way he clout chase up the ladder. I remember specifically when he played with 200+ ping i think it was lost ark? or some new game so he could play with shroud in NA.

It would have not surprised me if this allegation was true.

posted 8 months ago

EG managed to lose while 5-1 in pistol rounds...incredible

posted 8 months ago

NA here but let's all laugh together at EG and demon1 HAHAHAHHAHAH

posted 8 months ago

Been keeping an eye on s1mple account and he's on a 10 game lose streak in asc-imm tier.

https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/callmegod%23NAVI/overview

So was wondering if current valorant is too far ahead for cs pros to adapt to. Even looking at stewie2k he's been consistently grinding act after act like legitimately 2nd most games out of all imm+ and still not a very notable talent imo.

posted 8 months ago

DRX needs to free foxy9. He has been farming pros in NA ranked as well as 10 mans. Any APAC team will be an upgrade with him.

C9 (-Zellsis -Xeppaa -leaf -runi)

would you even call it c9 at that point? lol
thanks for the update though.

Gamers8GG twitch channel is incredibly viewbotted. Look at the chat speed and compare it to any channel with 1/5th the "viewership". Also check out the viewerlist while you're at it lol, it's hilarious. Same for Gamers8GG_b stream.

PRX vs OXY, screenshot said 0-1, is that a typo or it's updated result.

posted 8 months ago

idk why Yay's team has to include exalt. The team could have so much potential built from the ground up.

posted 9 months ago

partnered teams are a lot better than t2 teams but it's true they lose scrims very often

posted 9 months ago

What has changed? Kinda strange considering they were a primarily a phantom team.

LMAO valorant are living so rent free for cs stans

I'm a big mma fan and this is their chant.
