[ALLAT] Most Improved Player 2023

There's a lot of discussion about who the most improved player might be, and there have been strong cases over the year.

Such as T1 Carpe. Everyone was hyped for his debut but it was really poor (even as a T1 fan), so much so, people were wondering if he was the best choice. Fast forward to September, and while T1 didnt have the best performances internationally, Carpe managed to be better than he was at the start of the year, pulling of crucial clutches and helping T1 get rounds that were drastically needed.

But even as T1 fan, my choice for MIP is EG c0m. It's a little obvious but also underplayed as to how valuable c0m has been. Even last year, Akrew c0m was considered good, not great. Even when EG signed him, he was considered innovative but not impactful. Even at the start of the year when EG looked awful, there have been talks that c0m was the weakest link and there are better replacements for him. But now, he became a crucial element to EG's success with his impact and innovation on a multitude of agents and now is considered one of the best Sovas in the world.

Read allat and put your choices for MIP.

i will also go with carpe, and the trajectory is only up from here imo. he is a lil rough around the edges but thats nothing experience and the right guidance can't fix.

Less was already a god in 2022

On the other hand alfa turned from solid into a fucking demon

Carpe already had the mechanics and experience as a pro player he just needed that time to mould in ^_^

I'm from APAC so I'm super biased because that's what I mostly watch, but IMO its d4v41. Bro went from being arguably the weakest link in PRX during 2022 to a cornerstone of consistency and amazing support player.

nah jawg and boostio had proven they had t1 potential before. Ethan has been there done that. Demon1 maybe but its hard to have him as most improved when its his first season. Com is definitely up there though. Man looked like the embodiment of mid in 2022 and low looks like hes tryina edge out leo for best sova ww.

would definitely say f0rsakeN, although his mechanics were already better than most pros, the fact that he switched from a jett one trick who can play yoru to a fully flexible player is really impressive

C0m, he was a straight bot at the start and now he’s finding the best timings in the game

Might be a hot take but Jakee and runi have both improved a lot. They might not have put up massive results with C9 but for a team that was expected to crash and burn they actually put up acceptable results. This is also their first time in T1 valorant so I think they've done well enough for players new to the scene.

Objectively though Alfa, Cauanzin, the whole of EG, Foxy9 arguably had a good first year as well.

bro, i think like a lot of initiator improved a lot. Ethan- went from a pretty good initiator to arguably one of the best in the world. d4v41 also improved, from one of the worst to maybe one of the best on prx. c0m-went from about to be dropped to one of the best sova player
