Rb is the most overrated player ever

Every year he puts up mid ass performances but people rate him still highly becuase he's a very flexible player (which he indeed is, but why does it matter if he doesn't perform that good with any agent???)

I'll go ahead and show you the numbers

during all vct events this year:
MaKo had 1.15 rating
BuZz had 1.06
stax had 0.95 (very good for an IGL)
Rb had 0.99

at champs Rb had the team-lowest (by far) 0.89 rating
he did play with 12 agents on the year, but nobody denies that he's a very flexible player.

even at champs 2022 he had the team-lowest rating, and during the whole 2022 vct he shared that title with zest.

He's mad overrated. You can say that his flexibility makes up for it a little, but his inconsistency overdoes it by miles. Don't ever put him in the top 5 flexes of all time

soulcas has a very similar story but he somehow gets crucified while rb doesn't, I hope that with this post some of yo8 can get illuminated from the truth about flex players

Rb at least pops off once in a while and will win you a game. Soulcas just exists

He used to pop off a lot with early Liquid when they used him as a primary or secondary duelist. These days he's stuck in a flex role where he's trying to support others rather than being supported himself.

Mechanically he's decent, when he's confident he's an actual menace. But he doesn't seem to be in positions where he can be confident these days

this is simply not true. And I'm not saying that soulcas is better than Rb, but their difference in strenght is not so big to allow such different ways of being treated by the community

its probably because drx actually makes deep runs consistently, while liquid bombs out consistently

tbf people acknowledge Rb to be a great flex cause of his agent pool diversity, movement and best neon itw. KJ performance rating not so much, I blame Termi.

The fact that you are using his rating to say he is bad speaks for itself.
When will you guys realise that , these comp games are not about who has more frags in a game?
He has a lot of important kills, plays multiple agents and performs well in almost all of them.
There are several times when he gets important multkills that makes the team life easier.
He is human so of course he is not consistent each and every player has bad games or streaks ,also DRX as a whole is not on the level as teams in the TOP3, but he is a really good fragger/player definately TOP5 flex if you consider how DRX has been staying on this level for years now.
There are certain things the team expects from players and that is their main focus not the number of kills they have.
I can flank and play for exits the whole game having a rating between 1.0 -2.0 and would still be useless if the team does not win.
This is the same mentality most of you have for ranked as well, very selfish and does not work in professional play.
