APAC split 1 is the worst

The top 3 teams (DRX, PRX, GenG) are on a completely different level compared to teams ranked 4th to 10th. It's akin to watching a tier 2 team compete against tier 1 teams. If MIBR & GM were sent to this region, these teams would easily secure 4th or 5th place.

i feel they should just stick to wat they have rather than recruiting foreign talent. clearly apac has the talent but depends how these orgs wanna use it

Watching these teams feels like they don't have no chemistry inside the teams. Winning is a bonus for them.

It would seem like the mid tier teams of APAC are shit based on how we see them in their league, but they would absolutely dog walk the mid tier teams of other region. We did see that in lock-in where the emea champs got stomped by TS. Don’t try to reason that the teams have improved since this is also true for the other teams.

I was under the impression that the level of play has gone down.
Maybe not since Lock-in since that was the very first invitational of franchising, but especially compared to Tokyo or Champs, the level atm across the board is weaker compared to last year.

It would seem like the level of competition in EMEA has gone down since the top tier teams that we expected to dominate the region is not stable while the previous master representatives got eliminated in the groups. However, you can’t say the same for pacific. All the teams that you expected to top the brackets did perform, while the mid tier teams showed up as well where they even made it hard for top tier teams to win.

having 3 good team is better than having all your team be mid

  • Pacific split 1 is 23 days compared to other region 30 days.
  • T1 and GenG have to play double b2b 4 games in 9 days.
  • Alpha teams play 6 games in 23days (vs DRX and PRX in omega), wayy less time than other region.
  • Other region have it EASY.

yeah the apac stage 1 format was shit compared to the other regions but with 11 teams it will be always not be optimal

Team lulquid is 8-10th EMEA. Only KOI is really worse than them.

Tbh, Emea might be the worst region right now. As teams that are on the top of alpha and omega brackets would be wrecked by other regions top teams. If this continue then we could see them getting eliminated in groups. Navi might be strong on paper, however, they’re dogshit on their last international appearance so IDK what to expect.
