I dont hate Optic, but Optic wasnt given a challenge when they won
they were suffering against EMEA and FPX and FNC werent there (FNC had 2 subs and FPX had visa issues)

SENTINELS had to beat FNATIC, VIKINGS(LOUD's grandfather?), NUTURN
GAMBIT had to beat Crazy Raccoon, Vision Strikers(now drx), G2, Envy (now optic)
ACEND had to beat Keyd, Envy (now optic), Team Secret, LIQUID, GAMBIT
OPTIC had to beat KRU, XERXIA, THE GUARD (8th), DRX, ZETA, and LOUD
FPX had to beat XERXIA, NORTHEPTION, GUILD (top 3), DRX, FNATIC, OPTIC, PRX
LOUD had to beat ZETA, LEVIATAN, DRX, OPTIC

none of FNC runs can be considered fluke (they are the best)

team ranked from least flukey to most flukey
FPX > GAMBIT > ACEND = LOUD > OPTIC > SEN

I mean it's not Optic's fault that FNC and FPX were weakened. Whether or not they would have won otherwise, they got four top 3 finishes in the five LANs they attended, you have to be delusional to call that a fluke.

SEN and Acend had one good tournament, Gambit had two, FPX had two (and probably would have had three in better circumstances), Loud had two, and Optic had four. (Pre-franchise)

didnt deserve top 4 in copenhagen (dont wanna spend time explaining + 90% of vlr agrees. the ppl that are biased and dont want to have a conversation dont)

Gambit had war issues
Acend Zeek had mental health issues and then they got grouped in EMEA and Acend disbanded... (shit management) (almost got to copenhagen tho. they were 1-0 up in maps and had a 10-6 lead on FPX (until they choked the series to the winners of Copenhagen))
