I swear to fucking god. I hate when braindead misogynists, racists, right wingers and "dark humor" man-children use the word "snowflake" to refer to anyone but holy hell, these people are on a whole different level. It's literally fun seeing a bit of trashtalk coming from team that is literally called "Evil Geniuses" lmfao.
It ain't even that deep.. just shooting bodies in a fuckin video game that has no other meaning to it other than increasing the intensity of the games they play and people take that into a perspective of "humility." I don't even like any of EG's players but this is too much.
Edit: I haven't seen these many people talking about the real fucked up people out there like the dudes at the Union and there are people out there who defend rapists in the football space like Mason Greenwood and Benjamin Mendy.

to be honest I am not ONE of these things, I just think it's absurd all the outrage that shooting corpses in valorant or calling the other players bad during the match is causing in this community

I agree with the statement that we should all be working to create a more positive and welcoming environment for everyone in the VALORANT community. Toxic behavior, regardless of whether or not it is physical, is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.
I also agree that just because someone wouldn't have lasted a day in a 2000's lan house/cyber cafe doesn't mean that they're a "soft flowery snowflake." It just means that they have different standards of behavior. And those standards are perfectly valid.
We should all be setting a good example by being positive and respectful players ourselves. We can also call out toxic behavior when we see it, and encourage others to do the same. By working together, we can make VALORANT a more positive place for everyone.
Respecting your opponent in every sport is a fundamental law and rule, this is called "fair play". Shooting at a dead body means "how i fuck you" since there's no payoff in the game. If you do this in another sport, there is a sanction. Even Counter-Strike forbade this and changed the game's mechanics to block series crouching to prevent t-bags. Valorant should do this in offical tournaments, the player who does not respect his opponent should be punished. Otherwise, the game will come out of a serious tournament and turn into an adolescent game.
I think you're too far gone, but Ill give this a shot anyways. Valorant IS an adolescent game. So are ALL sports. Do people get paid to play them because we like watching them? Sure. Does that mean we should threaten taking players families hostage when they taunt other players? I think the answer is obvious. You need to take this GAME less seriously. Also, to suggest shooting bodies breaks "fair play" is the most asinine argument I've ever seen. Where in the rulebook does it mention that its against the rules to shoot bodies? Also, CS didn't remove crouching to prevent tbagging LOL. It was because people were abusing the mechanic to get kills from behind cover. Valorant, by nature, is not serious - learn to take it that way
