I have to study 10+ hours a day :(
My uni entrance exams are in 5 months
Inactive everywhere and not playing Val still I'm a lot behind my peers because of some personal setbacks and laziness "_"
I feel so stressed did anyone of you went/going through a similar phase?

jus stay focused on what means the most / feels the most important to you but dont overwork yourself because itll never be worth it

at the end of the day youre a human, not a robot

be efficient with your time and dont study for so long if it means ruining your sanity or health. its just as important to take breaks and enjoy yourself to ease off the stress

i believe in ya :>

how about ruining your sanity and fixing it later on in life? valid strat i think. ruin your sanity -> become genius -> fix at 25.

Don’t undervalue the importance of having a life

Social skills and lifelong connections can take you incredibly far

doesnt mean you have to throw away everything else u have in your life though

there should be a balance between working hard to achieve your goals while also embracing a social life and having time to yourself

i think one of either is gonna have to give eventually tho, but i get your point.

I dropped out of college since it's a joke in my country, couldn't have made a better choice.

but, persist and make sure it's something you like (or at least can bear).

depending on your degree i'd advise to quickly accept that stress. even better, start taking pleasure in it.

Went through the same before my undergrad got 98th percentile in entrance examination and secured a somewhat decent uni

Things don't magically become great after that so work hard but don't forget to do things you find fun once you get in a decent uni :)

Best of luck for your examinations!!

Damn, and I thought that our EGE was kinda hard compared to other countries exams (I've seen some American one). Am I correct that you have to pass math AND physics AND chemistry?
I've seen a lot of people really stressing before exams and exhausting themselves with 10h study everyday like you. Imo it's not very productive, I personally wouldn't be able to solve easiest thing after 5-6h of studying. So maybe you should chill a bit to not burn out, you've enough time to prepare

Yes all three subjects
90 questions in 3 hours
Over a hundred chapters
Too tough :/
Many people commit suicide during their preparation and some after failing it
And people who prep for this exam study 12+ h its common in india

I'm pretty sure Civil Exam is like that in KR too.

I got into, but I literally had to give 3 years of my life lol

But civil exam here salary are inflated as fuck, you can easily earn like 8k USD month taking into account that living in front of beach here is 500-800 USD, basically you become a King in this country.

Holy shit, I thought they were seperate exams at least. That's really fucked up, but, you know, you don't have to solve everything, just get in top 0.1% and there's always a small number of individuals who are actually studying. You got it mate

If you are doing 10+ hrs self study excluding lectures then don't worry you are in that top 0.1% already

It happens with everyone trust me if you are getting low marks in tests don't worry just keep track of your mistakes in mock tests and fix it.
Look it's a win win situation if you get good marks in tests well and good and even if you don't get good marks you learn from the mistakes you made maybe you could have made that mistake in JEE but you made it earlier so you got time to fix it so it's good for you.

I don't think 10+ hours of studying is at all normal, of course you're going to hate life right now. I would dropout so already you r better than me. On the bright side you have 5 months left. It's not that long of a time period, but the studying aspect is will make it feel like a year. POWER THROUGH MY FRIEND. NO BITCH SHIT. Have the red bull on standby

ngl I think youre studying too much, 10+ hours a day is crazy at least to me. I got in to my first choice uni for my first choice program on scholarship without all that time. I get the stress part though as I was stressed for like the entire second semester

Hey friend -- I've been there. You're probably getting burnt out. Remember that self care is the best care, and DONE IS GOOD. Take care of yourself. Study with the pomodoro method (I think that's what its called!)

And no matter what -- you got this.

I would recommend cutting back on studying but I don't know you and I don't know your load. You will crush your exams, no problem, regardless of if you study a million hours or like 3.

Sending light <3
