It isnt terrible imo, the makers have put in actual effort and love and it shows, maybe someone from the production had their real life experiences put in, the handmade scenes & varying styles to potray bocchi’s mood is pretty cool imo. Also the story seems okish.

I am not into romance anime. Showed it to a friend after S2 concluded, and he wondered how can an author milk the same idea for so long. Blud was proved dead wrong. It's peak comedy and has something over your traditional romance anime. It even became the highest-rated show for a while on MAL in S3 before FMAB stans bombarded it with 1/10 reviews.
