not a dickrider but it really surprises me how people can say he wasn't the best player of all time in his prime. shit on everybody else and highest acs at a masters ever. and dont use the "but the game wasnt as developed at the time!" excuse, its not like everybody else was nerfed while he wasnt. you're not going to invalidate 2023 fnatic in 10 years because the game was simpler

TenZ dominated against milk men and plumbers, when Valorant was in its infancy. The Jett nerf exposed him the most. He also can not play Raze at all, while other Jett’s can.

TenZ is like the Jeremy Lin of Valorant. Was a star in the perfect system, but struggles in systems not catered to him.

He is not as good as Derke, Aspas, Leaf, and Demon1. I would take LFT OXY and Koalanoob over him.

"when valorant was in its infancy" tenz didnt have a disadvantage because of this, he was playing the same game as everybody else

Sorry but thats not how it works, is a fact people are far better players now than before, tenz was a good player before and now he average because the field different and more stacked thats how competition works my man. Tenz was a just a big fish in a small pond thats is now much larger and he is not longer the bigger fish.

The competition was much weaker than it is currently. There is no way he becomes dominant again.

Pre Jett nerf allowed him to get away with brainless pushing, but now he can’t do it anymore. He has too many holes in his game. He can only play Jett, and it’s a coin flip whether he’ll have a good game or go triple negative.

best player of all time in his prime

This statement is so exaggerated 🗿, he was the best player at the first masters but after the new talents start to compete and game becomes more complex, his PRIME is only a one tournament thing🗿

im confused, are you saying that prime tenz is the best player to ever play the game or just the best player at the time?

for his time, he was the best. you're not going to compare pele to a random ass player now, because even though they would probably clear him, he was better considering the competition.
you don't want to compare old players to competition nowadays, you compare them to the competition when they played.

I don't think they had any chance in 2023 tbh
2022 champs really could've been better if they'd been more ready for the meta

Tenz is the wilt of Valorant.

Bro is dropping unreal numbers against plumbers and milkmen, and is a mechanical freak of nature, but the game itself has passed him by. I still think he's on the highest of mechanical levels, but is held back by his lack of mastery of agents and Valorants overall system.

Also, tenz was never in a system made for him. He's never been supplied as much as guys like Derke or Yay, but the system of Valorant was so much more individual that he could win on his own.

cNed, Derke, Yay all had much better prime gameplay in my opinion.

I mean cNed took his team to a Champions trophy (TenZ only won a masters), Derke is Derke and Yay was slapping up the competition for a whole year
