LOUD def choked u right abt that. Split was also kinda a choke tbf but also EG isn't the superteam that LOUD is where a match between LOUD vs FNC is kinda fair but EG is not

fnatic doesn’t make us nervous brotha, they are just insanely good. they are an unstoppable team, from what weve seen this year, that literally has some (if not all) of the best players in the world and have been steamrolling everyone in their path. we aren’t choking, fnatic are simply better, not much else to say.

I don't get how people are shitting on EG when they beat the #1 seed from each region in the playoffs and kept it close with FNC despite being the 3rd seed. Everyone acting like it was a fluke they even qualed for the tournament and they made it to grand finals anyways. Anyone hating on EG is huffing copium wishing that NA was bad.

You keep saying they came in as 3rd seed but why does that matter fnatic came in as 2nd seed, loud who came in as 1st seed genuinely looked worse than navi, drx, ase, t1 and fut they looked like the worst team at the tournament
Nrg barely beat liquid and were lucky to not get 2-0ed as liquid choked haven so they are about the same level
Eg definitely did choke it doesn’t matter what seed they came in or what peoples expectations were at the start as people were expecting eg to take at least a map in the grand final and they should of taken a map but they choked on bind they had a 10-4 lead and were on 12 for multiple rounds and they still got taken to ot where they lost
The fact is eg choked they should’ve been able to win bind they even had a comp prepared to try and anti strat fnatic on bind keeping bind hidden for soo long

Okay EG choked grands? I don't care, that doesn't discredit anything I said. EG defied expectations for their overall tournament placing and that's what the point of my comments are. They are not a bad team, and they didn't do dogshit. They are far better than anyone was giving them credit for before Masters started.
