he made a critical statement about potter and it was wrong, who's going to pretend that everything they say comes true? sure he can get slack for it, but if George was right, they wouldn't burying him like this.

For me his comment about Potter was primarily just really weird. Maybe it was the wording, but it just felt a bit like he was singling out Potter while EG were definitely not the only team that looked kinda bad. And with all the other stuff going on around George at the time, it definitely made it seem like it was motivated by sexism, even if not consciously. I don't think he's a bad person for making that comment or anything, but he could have also defused the situation pretty easily and chose not to. Eh.

nah they’re weird for that. he’s a journalist and has criticized different players/coaches before. and this was after EG was complete shit for like 2 years and entire community was hating on them. where was their energy when he called mini and fnatic frauds in the past?
