It's never easy to say goodbye...

Thank you @HUYNH_CS for being one of the biggest reasons why #GenGVAL is where it is today. Wherever your career takes you next, we know they'll be lucky to have you, and you'll always have our support!

As one of the founding members of Gen.G's fully French Canadian roster, huynh and Gen.G quickly became a member of North America's upper echelon of teams by displaying impressive results against other top teams. Eventually, the roster began to move away from a fully French Canadian roster to continue competing with North America's finest, which paid off for them as different agents fell in and out of meta.

In late April, he was benched from the starting roster. Gen.G would soon name Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison as his replacement, while allowing him to continue to explore other options while still under contract.

The last match huynh made an appearance in was Gen.G's Open Qualifier Quarterfinals match against TSM in Stage 2 Challengers 2. Gen.G's loss in that match resulted in them falling just short of qualifying for the Stage 2 Challengers 2 main event. That match was also the last time the team has been seen in tournament play, nearly two months ago.

With this departure, Gen.G Gen.G Korea Rank #2 Munchkin Byeon Sang-beom (변상범) t3xture Kim Na-ra (김나라) Meteor Kim Tae-O (김태오) Lakia Kim Jong-min (김종민) Karon Kim Won-tae (김원태) are now:
