Question for movement

Is it better to press the opposite key to stop when moving and then stopping to take your shot or is better to leave both keys?

Like I'm talking about A and D when moving.

I, right now take my hands of both A and D and then shoot. Like I'm talking about strafe shoot basically

strafing doesn't really offer much when stopping to shoot, because you give a window where you are still. being able to shoot in between a and d pressing is optimal. then again you can rank up in this game without counterstrafing so it doesnt matter all that much

counterstrafing doesnt do anything in this game, in this game ur either moving full speed, one step, shifting or crouching. there is no deceleration.

wait that's what you do? mate i have some news for you.... counterstrafing makes your character model come to a stop faster than just letting go, especially if you were moving in one direction at full speed

just learn all and if you use all in a long duel its hard to hit u thats what i do and in some scenerios some are more important like a jiggle peek with a strafe shot or a wide swing with a crouch shot
