watching vod reviews or stream, he’s a great communicator and teammate but…
he’s the guard main bot frag.

bot fragging is fine but imo is an issue when it’s repetitive and negative kda especially if they’re not an igl (although I think igl shouldn’t bot frag every time either)

Thats ranked mentality. In pro play as long as ur team is winning nobody gives a shit. If u top frag every game but ur team loses consistently, its just empty stats

well then you have teams like NRG where they choke and you’re wondering what went wrong then check vlr and fns is -30

Ok tbf, they are just not good at regional finals but they deliver at the most important moments

yes and no. I think they’re a really good team that will always be S/A+ tier… but they’ll never be the best bc they simply lack firepower

Nah who has bad firepower except FNS?

Crashies best initiator Americas
S0m best controller Americas
Ardiis insane mechanically / has proved himself on FPX
Victor has been insane this stage

So many other teams with worse firepower

ik im notorious for this take, but igl shouldn’t be an exception. very strange and bad for the esport that many t1 igls have below radiant mechanics

i feel like you just aren't able to fathom just how difficult it is to midround and put up numbers at the same time

this is just an example of dude in the audience chatting about something they don't understand

watch them play ranked. they look like me out there. there’s a reason they all use the judge lol

bro. igling reduces ur stats. ScreaM is just a walking example of this. Look at his stats before and after ZE1SH stepped in.

dude fns was a cs pro for like 10 years his aim is on the lower end but he's still solid
everyones got whiff montages

that’s fair. I just think franchising (and t2) should easily be able to find a t1 igl with t1 aim. why are they comprising with so many pros out there

I will count how many series he was bottom frag out of every match he played in challengers this year and see how true that is

and to be clear, I will count frags, not VLR rating, because VLR rating biases against sentinel players

he bottom fragged an entire series only 4 times out of 19 times. its really not a big deal, especially considering hes a sentinel player

how is rating biased against sentinels?

#19

  • sentinels are the least likely to pick up assists, and APR is a factor of VLR rating.
  • sentinels tend to have slightly lower ADR as anchors and ADR is a factor of VLR rating
  • vlr rating counts traded deaths as "not bad" and untraded deaths as "bad". sentinel players lurk so they will have more untraded deaths, but the kills they do get are far more likely to be traded
