My real take of every region (Long read)

EMEA - Imo the strongest region just for the fact that EMEA has the most firepower. EMEA site executes lacking compared to Americas
BR - Always loved Brazil. Mechanically cracked players who know how to play the game aggressive. Lacking good IGLs but has pretty much everything else
LATAM - A bit similar to BR except not as good. Mechanically gifted players who play fast and aggressive. BR just has more talent and firepower
NA - Alot of the best NA talent is stuck in tier 2. NA as it is isn't as good as they can be. NA can and will challenge for top spot when they get their best talent on franchised rosters
APAC - Love watching APAC games just because how fast they play. Region is missing top IGLs much like Brazil. Aside from that has pretty much everything, PRX looked amazing, DRX a bit stale lately
China - From what i've seen, they play too individualistic and puggy to have a chance at winning. Good aimers but they need the basics before challenging other regions

Surprisingly as a whole americas has the better set plays which used to be the inverse im 2021. NRG LOUD and EG are all really strategic. Whilst FUT and Liquid definitely play more puggy and slowed down.

Agreed. I remember when Americas was seen as all aim no brain. Things changed huh

Idk i always thought emea has strategization and a SHIT TON of igls and good coaches but i’ve never seen someone genuinely praise emea for their firepower. They always play the smartest and the most optimal valorant whenever they can, i don’t really see a lot of clutches in emea unless they absolutely shit the bed (fut vs chronicle for starters) cause most players save a lot which means everyone has a good understanding of economy building and team’s economy as well

the only thing i disagree with is EMEA having the most firepower. Honestly in terms of raw firepower all of the major regions are fairly equal -- they have their absolute superstars that could maybe make a claim of GOAT and also some players that really make me ask how they were hired.

everything else i honestly 100% agree on

think the take on NA will change after this year, CS has contributed to a lot of the weakness of the NA scene in terms of firepower, where EMEA has a ton of grown talent in tac fps games bc of how insane CS has been/is right now, while it was not as big in NA. However, Valorant is incredibly popular in NA and with premier entering the scene I think there's going to be a lot of upgrades in firepower coming out of NA. the only problem for me is how inflated salaries are in NA, if we don't fix that shit the scene is going to die. no one in t2 should be getting a six figure salary imo, it's just ridiculous rn and it's going to break the bank for all these orgs taking a big chance on Valo if it's not changed soon. EMEA has it right, NA has got to be better about how we use our money.

people keep saying a lot of the NA talent is stuck in T2, but can you confidently name a player from t2 that will do much better instead of a current t1 player? before you could argue about the EG players but even they've looked solid

There's definitely alot. I'm about to fall asleep so not gonna name them rn tho kkkkkkk

Hot take here - I'm a fan of the 100 Thieves players personally, but all of M80 could replace them and be better one for one.

based on the match that literally just ended, NiSMO would be a direct upgrade for a lot of teams for ini/raze

Good observation! But I'd like to add that Pacific also needs robust coaching staff and China sigh needs trainers, i don't mean coaches but trainers. We're still playing like it's early valorant days but it's understandable

China has the talent for sure! Just some coaching like you said to get the basics right

yeah, if you guys pick up one or two dudes from NA t2 or one of the better EMEA t2 circuits, you could really get going. I think a lot of what is holding back China rn is just that the game has not been out very long, and since CS wasn't a big thing there y'all are kinda starting from the ground up. the talent is obvious, zmjkk is one of the best players in the world imo.
