In theory, they should be separate regions and make a LAS player an import. But following previous years evidence, teams like Reta with a full LAS + BR roster were able to play on LAN. I guess it depends if LAN & LAS share qualifiers.

I can see a couple of routes;

• Move Neon to duelist, get Shyy or Mirada as Sentinel player.
• Get an experienced player and make them IGL (e.g Keznit IGL no cap) or move Blowz/Neon to IGL (similar style to the academy)
• Kick one of Blowz or Spike and get a Brazilian Duelist, find a smoker and leftover roles.

Immo the bigger role to fill is Kingg with him having the IGL as with how young players are shooting these days Sato is an ""easier"" player to fill. Lev has the advantage of higher salaries and mostly guaranteed spot on Franchises and International Cups, I doubt they dont find at least one replacement with the same projection as the other 3 staying on the roster.

Yes my gringo. From recent rumors it seems that they have the core of Saadhack - Dante confirmed & Darker 80% - 90% confirmed (been in most scrims). Also, silentzz is a strong option as well as Less as the street says Less doesnt want to play with Sayonara. Roles arent fully defined yet but they are mostly missing a sentinel and a smoker/flex.

They also have done a 3 week trial with almost every F/A or upcoming T2 talent from Latam North/South & Brazil, as well as some NA players. Trials seems to have ended and expect news soon

Wdym its a Lev masterclass. Poach the players from one of the fave teams for ascension, making the LATAM team have better chances (eXolos). Besides, their academy team has won two times in a row their VCL and are planning to promote them next year. Even if the next valorant goat were from latam/brazil and currently F/A, they would have to get their Visa which takes 1 to 3 months and allegedly 10k usd for it.

The biggest problem South American teams have is with the Visas, making their mid season roster changes premeditated (2G), get a latam/br player already with a visa (loud with virty or kru with heat last year) or go with a NA player.

At this point im praying they tank this year to make a Heretics 2.0 in 2026.

With the recent changes of Demon1 and Rossy just wanted to give out some more context from what Fer Mago said on a interview today with Lucas Rojo on his twitch channel. The vod is available as its today's stream if anyone wants to watch it. Just want to share some key points of what was said:

Plan for 2025:

• Original plan included Mazino on the roster, had to draft it again as he wanted to be out almost at the end of the year.
• 2025 Roster in retrospective is a mess, but both on his (lev ceo) and staff eyes it made sense.
• Most signings were kind of a "patch" for certain needs the team had (Rossy)

Rest of 2025:

• They admit that these changes are a result of a bad management on their part and that they are doing them rn to try to qualify to EWC and Champions.
• They can't ascend any academy player as they are not 18 y/o.
• No player is confirmed yet, trials have not begun.
• Natank is not discarded as an option, LEV is willing to tryout any available player.
• Roster should be locked in before EWC.

Small note for their plan moving forward (2026+)

• Ascend players from their academy team (they can't move up anyone as they are all under aged)

No particular comments on Demon1 or Rossy as this was before the announcement.

Yet LEV was one of the first latam teams to have an academy team investing in the long term.What is killing Latam is not the change from LEV to an international roster, is the fact that Riot has the league in NA making it way more difficult for latam players to have good scrims/trials if you are from South America and not having an easy way to make quick changes mid season without having to sign an American player. Look how Kru had to sign Heat last year cause he already had his Visa and did not have to wait 3 months between trialing someone from LATAM then paying 10k USD for the working visa and lastly wait for it to be issued.

The only way VCT LEV is hurting latam is by not having a "guaranteed" latam player spot like BR teams mostly do for their teams, where they only sign BR players and even then, who says next year they dont come back to a core latam team as this year the best latam player (Dantedeus) wasnt 18 yet and the other players did not meet the expectations.
