edit: Since when did group stage head to heads retroactively matter? Bros dropped 7 maps vs 4 and that all gets dismissed for a match played in the first week of the groups?

It's not retroactive. They qualified and were seeded based on the results of the one month round robin. A two way tie is decided by h2h, loud beat c9.

If C9 won against LOUD and both still ended up 8-1, we wouldn't be having this thread right?

i thought ties were settled by map differential, not h2h in the case of 100T and EG?
