realise that you are receiving no benefit from what you are currently doing, and you would receive more benefit if you did the thing you are meant to be doing, because you can't lie to yourself, you know what is best for you, i know you are not dumb, we just make excuses for ourselves.

Idk, like, I failed an exam, the reason? I watched heretics match the day before and I hadn't have time to study xd
It's difficult to create a study routine everyday tbh

you dont need a study routine, you need consistency, you consistently go on VLR right (or whatever it is )?

i want to get off vlr but at this point its just my habit to check it every hour or so. I use a blocker on my pc but there are no reliable blockers for my phone and I Just can't control when I know that the goat Skrossi is playing tonight.

no joke, if you stop masturbating its gets a lot better, also make a routine and follow it thoroughly

I've tried doing that, always failed within a week.

well, in the end the only person who can change that is you.
if it is that bad, i suggest a dopamine detox, it will be hard but rewarding

I want to do dopamine detox but again the problem is only blockers can stop me, I can't stop doing bad habits on my own will. I need something/someone to stop me from doing a certain thing until it ain't a habit

don't beat yourself up for faIling, you are still going on, heroin addicts are able to change their brain back to normal, and so can you. no matter how weak you perceive yourself as.

i altered my study routine a lot to stay focused, imo it works really good academically.

if i study by writing and get bored by it, i switch to memorizing by speaking, or use flashcards next day, etc.
I also changed places a lot, one day worked in home, next day in cafe, the other day in library.

Going out for working though works like wonders, because when im outside I have nothing else to do rather than just studying, -i still get distracted by phone or yt sometimes but shorter time-. When im at home opportunities are endless, video games, cleaning, even simple tasks like cooking contributes to procrastinating. Hope it helps.

Brother just put your phone out of your sight first
Same with laptop or pc
Now method which fetch me 99.771% ile in jee for concentrating
Listen to any song for 15 to 20 mins eyes closed before start of the studying helps a lot
After that
Set a target of 30 mins initially to study
Increase target by 3 mins everyday after every target complete listen to 1 song Or 2 song not more than that and do this on repeat you will feel relaxed and won't feel burdened while studying.
Being burdened/bored is the main reason you start to procrastinate.

Start compensating yourself for things you do. If you need to study, study FIRST then you compensate with something you want, like play, watch, eat, or things like that. NEVER the other way around.
