a lot of it is shit and it just steals from actual artists without credit. 99.99% of the time you can immediately tell the art is generated too cause it just has a certain look to it (almost a soulless look), so I doubt it ever replaces real art

I think it could be an interesting tool in the future but it sucks really bad rn, especially with the lamest mfs on planet earth making ai shit and trying to pass it off as real art

As art student, i'll say the Ai art is great especially in value and colours, but surprisingly really bad at drawing a hand, or fingers.

Made my 7 years of practicing drawing feel like a waste. it also does affect my mental health for a few months since drawing is absolutely the only thing I'm good at and plan to do jobs relating to art. Sounds highly pathetic ik but I can't help it
