In this video, Nth's Blackwiz states that it is more valuable for an individual player's career to play in the tier 2 national league than to keep losing to lower tier 1 international league teams.
He also advised xnfri to stay with Nth for the first year and wait to be approached by international league teams.
Is this correct?

As far as the current state of the DFM is concerned, you are correct. LOL

It is not correct because the salary and other benefits are not comparable.
The career of an esports player is short, so it is important to be in a toptier environment for as many years as possible.

The salary and other benefits of the Japanese teams does not appear to be much different, except that ZETA and CR are said to be particularly good.

This is one of the main problems about the Japanese scene. Most tier 2 jp pros are comfortable staying in tier 2 and performing well domestically rather than struggling to get better internationally. Pay in tier 2 is almost if not equal to tier 1. For example CR roster declined to play for DFM...

However, international league teams have guaranteed salaries and subsidies.

It loses its meaning if you are dismissed from the DFM after one year and cannot participate in international leagues after next year.

Who? It is insane to refuse to get the experience of competing internationally with a tier 1 team as a professional player.

Is this guy talking about dfm lol
If its t2 JP players then yeah sure, the salary and fame alr good enough. You can enjoy life while farming jp bots, but something take prx offer, I'm pretty sure his jp salary and prx salary same or maybe jp higher, bcs he want to win something good.

Most Japanese players do not have practical English skills, so unlike soimething, they are limited in the number of teams they can join. So the only way is to join DFM or ZETA.

This is a losers excuse and not good mentality for any egoist. Players like this won't be the top of the world any time soon. Literally just pay check stealers that will get exposed soon.

I see. They want short-term money and prestige...
