Anyone criticizing 100T is an idiot.
Getting to face tier 1 teams directly—teams you'd never even get to scrimmage against normally—is a chance worth way more than 1000dollers
Of course you'd be thrilled to fight NRG or FURIA head-on.
In real sports terms, it's like getting to play against Messi or Haaland, Real Madrid or Barcelona, or Arsenal.
You should be grateful, not bashing them. That's 100% wrong.

When the Initiator's stats improve, it usually means the Duelist isn't doing their job well.

I forget where the original text I copied was written, but if this is true, he's a really great player.

Peter “Governor” No is a well-known name in the world of VALORANT.
But behind the gamer tag "Governor" lies a deep, local dream he once pursued—a dream tragically derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peter chose the tag back in high school. His small county in Iowa was struggling with a persistent exodus of young people and the challenges of an aging population, and he was fiercely determined to turn things around. His passion for politics was undeniable; his senior yearbook quote was a bold declaration: "I will become the Governor of my home state and breathe life back into my community."

"Governor" was a constant reminder, a symbol of the commitment he made to himself. At college, he majored in political science, secured a coveted spot in a state legislative internship, and was well on his way to realizing his ambition.

Then, in early 2020, the global pandemic hit.

The internship was canceled, classes moved online, and the activities he valued most—vigorous campus debates and attending local town halls to hear constituents’ voices—became impossible. For Peter, who believed a political career was built on genuine human connection and on-the-ground engagement, this situation was a major blow.

The greatest impact, however, was what the pandemic did to his hometown. The economic stagnation and the severe social fragmentation there made his dream of becoming Governor feel impossibly distant and unrealistic. He fell into a deep funk, thinking, "Maybe I don't have the power to bring people together, even on a small scale."

As his dream began to fracture, Peter found an escape in VALORANT.

Online, regardless of physical distance, he could collaborate with teammates, strategize, and work toward the shared goal of victory. It offered a powerful sense of unity—an echo of the "community rebuilding" he had yearned for in politics.

Peter put his dream of governorship on hold and started building a new career as "Governor" in the online arena. Leveraging the "leadership" and "judgment" inherent in his tag, he quickly made a name for himself. After gaining traction as a popular streamer, he soon began to dominate the professional scene.

He still keeps an eye on local news back home. Deep down, he harbors a quiet hope that the skills he's honed in the game—especially his "leadership" in rallying a team during tough moments and his "strategic thinking" in analyzing complex situations—might one day serve him in rebuilding his real-world community.

The story of "Governor" is not one of a young man’s broken dream, but a story of redirection, where he reshaped his ambition and found a new stage to demonstrate his leadership.

I was watching the BR YouTube stream, and there were a lot of comments saying “Evil won.” Why is TLBR being treated like the villain?

Did flor end up like that without any solid evidence?
Honestly, I'm glad this year's SRGold lost.

It's impossible unless crashies stop trolling for NA.

Players who prioritize their own stats over the team's victory are not needed at 100T.

That may be true, but I don't think "Die for you" would be streamed as much as it is now if it hadn't been released as the first Champions music video. I also think the fact that The Weeknd has a song with the same title is a factor.

Thanks to DRX.

The composition is unrealistic.
A lineup of Phoenix, Chamber, Astra, Omen, and Breach is definitely a troll. Riot Games should have recreated the Abyss from Champions 2024 GF EDG vs. TH.
In the lore of this game, it should be acceptable for both teams to have the same agent, but it seems Riot has forgotten that.

No pro players at all.
In League of Legends music videos, many pro players, especially those from the previous year's championship team, make an appearance, which is one of the biggest attractions for fans and players.
Valorant should continue to emulate this, not just with the 2022 MV ("Fire Again").

Song.
When I first heard this song, I felt it lacked excitement as a world championship anthem.
It felt the same as when I first heard the 2022 Worlds song ("Star Walkin").
Well, just like "Star Walkin," there's a chance it could be re-evaluated later based on the excitement of the tournament itself.
Also, Riot keeps choosing artists who are not famous enough to be in charge of the anthem for the world championship of its most famous FPS title. Why? Is there a budget issue?

posted 6 months ago

In my opinion, RIOT shouldn't have held tournaments in China and created a Chinese league. But it's too late now.

In Pacific is yes, but in EMEA is no.

The previous year's World Champion and the Masters Champion will both fail to qualify.
Roster changes or not, the game could not be more unrepeatable in terms of strength. Apex, where the same teams have won World Championship multiple times, is more reflective of their abilities.

MrFaliN responds to an interview with Japanese media.

Members are "like family"
-Of the teams that consistently compete in the world championships in VCT, there are not many teams where all players are of the same nationality, only FUT, DRX, and Gen.G. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages unique to such teams?

MrFaliN: I don't know much about how it is in other parts of the world, so I would say that in my experience in Turkey, the advantage is that we have a relationship with our members as if we are family. We get along well, and if there is a mistake, we can all correct it together. We speak the same language to begin with, so that is also an advantage in terms of communication.

Personally, I have the impression that teams that engage in this kind of familiarization behavior are getting weaker, and so are PRX and NAVI.
As professionals, we should maintain a businesslike and tense relationship.
What do you guys think?

They should start by changing the inflexible players with too small an agent pool and the lack of awareness that prides itself on a haphazard style.

After all, in the tournaments where PRX took 2nd in the world (Copenhagen, LA), they had a very well-developed set and a crazy amount of off-meta skill.
They were never a team that just executed W-gaming, but what a mistake they made, and that's all they have left.
If they didn't change coaches, they wouldn't have to change much of their team policy.

posted about a year ago

Yes it looks cool.
However, I believe that the system as it is now would hardly change the look of the teams competing in the Masters and Champions. And teams that don't get paid for Champions skins will never have revenues exceeding expenses. monetizing the tier2 scene is also a big issue, what are your thoughts on that? I don't think increasing the prize money for Masters qualifiers will be a big plus for them. Also, if the league system is eliminated, the system of league participation fees and minimum annual salaries will be eliminated at the same time.

At least Shao and SUYGETSU will be released (since they are Russian).
ANGE1 will be the coach.

It's far better than BR, which used to be a very popular area but has only declined since 2023. And the number of promising young people is also decreasing. If it is weak now, but popular, there is a chance it will produce good talent someday. If it is not popular, that possibility is less likely.

CS : no Agents, many maps, less often update
LoL : Many champions, one map, frequent update
VALORANT : Many Agents, many maps, frequent update

VALORANT is the most difficult game. So it's no surprise that there won't be a single dominant team.

He's previously mentioned retiring once he's no longer needed by the team and expressed no interest in moving to another team in YouTube videos. He also has no intention of becoming a streamer or coach and will likely pursue a different path in real life.

If TLN beat ZETA, they had a high probability of playing GENG in the first round of the playoffs. This would mean that they would end up with 7 championship points.
However, if they lost to ZETA, they would not face GENG, increasing their chances of expecting more than 2-3 wins in the playoffs.
And the chance to earn points for ourselves while at the same time preventing rivals such as RRQ and TS from earning points is far more important than winning ZETA and earning a single immediate point.

It's not match-fixing, but it's sickening to see this kind of deliberate act of losing.
