I quite sure that number of sg/my had some amount of TH viewer included for grand final bleed vs X10.

Because as I remember there is no TH watch party for sScarry except his gf on sScarry channel.

For TH that's a good stat for a non-Mobile game even tho we know that they are still quite behind the most watched PC esports here (that surprises you how this game is still popular)

#7

what are the most popular pc esports in thailand?

#13

PUBG PC, it brought 88K Peak last season
nearly quadrupled of the VCL TH

What about r6 saar ?

#22

Siege never really gets popular in SEA at all due to the game not being casual friendly and skill ceiling was way way high

Thai R6 league barely goes past 1K, says a lot
even CS at its peak locally here, was never past 10K

filipinos dont watch streams unless you're a popular personality. considering that more than half of the teams in VCT PH dont stream and dont even have social media exposure id say thats to be expected.

#20

Frags

yeah it's like they don't exist. the only one who watches these games are the ones very invested in valorant esports. we are 4th in countries who have the highest playercount but it doesnt transfer to our viewership. orgs need to be more aggressive in attracting casual players to their esport team ngl. For example: among my friends except those who are asc-radiant, the only esports team they know is SENTINELS and TENZ xd

#24
KssS

Frags
+

lmao same with me, my friends only know sentinels and tenz. its wild that the Valorant Ph facebook group has 800,000 members and not even 1% of them watch vct ph. also, NAOS and OAS are the only teams driving up the viewership because they an army of influencers

Have you tried share the stream on your FB group or maybe having a Facebook Livestream rather than streaming it on youtube could help

#48

I haven't, tho i want to try that but i dont wanna be using my main account. my alt account is only a few months old and the rules dont want accounts that are under 1 year to post.

So its not worth when holding an international lan in PH right?

#37
KssS

Frags

idk there's a big fanbase for valorant here, they just dont care about filipino teams(aside from team secret) they'd rather watch NA teams and NA streamers.

#38
EttedoSolemn

Frags

No, a lot of Filipinos are rooting for NA and EMEA and they don't give a fck about their home team, that's why ph valorant is so low in terms of viewership because they watch the other country, but when it comes to international events you can see their support ( i'm filipino by the way thats why i know haha )

#49

#54

lmao good point. I guess that could be an argument for LAN tournaments in the Philippines. We don't really care which country/region you come from but if you are good we will cheer for you.

true, the first val team i rooted for is c9 tenz era. then i became an envy fan when they didnt have yay yet. then now i support ph teams when bren did something that's also the first time i heard there's a ph team

Kinda impressive for both Indonesia and Thailand in terms of how invested the people are on the comp scene considered that this is the viewership numbers for the Tier 2 scene where Indo is a mobile gaming centric country and PUBG PC is still big in Thailand.

#34

lets be honest here those numbers only relevant because of some kiddo support his favs org without any actual knowledge or even experience of playing valorant.

Yes, only the French one and Turkish one are getting views. The Spanish one is getting 2k average, Polaris not even 1k, East around 1,5k too. Not sure about the other 4 but imagine they are around those numbers too

Obviously they all have higher peaks but that’s the average

for your information, we have less valorant player count than philippines and indo..
whole 1.4billion doesn't play or watch valorant(they have better things to do), its depend on no. of active players which is lesser in India

yes but many people in india, pretty much every country in the world dont have a pc to play the game but still like to watch gameplays or tournaments. so numbers come from there too
