If it wasn't dead they wouldn't have the travel that much. You're getting it the other way around my friend, it's not dead because they have to travel, they have to travel because it's dead

NA CS is already dead, i do not understand these people that wanna have careers in CS but still refuse to move to EU.
If you hate the idea of moving to EU that badly, then either retire, change games, or take the flights and stfu IMO

It's a tough situation for sure. Props to people like Team Liquid in CSGO for showing you can still be an elite team with this handicap.

the main issue for col is the need to fly back and forth to still participate in NA events.
they arent at TL level where they can skip qualifiers (Like the major rmr for example)

They're not performing load management properly. They tried their luck in IEM Brazil NA qualifier right before RMR qualifier. This was all done right after Kato and right before their EPL group.
Liquid on the other hand skipped IEM Brazil. I get that coL can't justify skipping events like a top 3 team but still.

yeah but doing the Rio qual makes sense because they wouldve been in NA for the rmr during that time.
