Duelists who excel at both Jett and Raze

Looking back on 2022 Sentinels, I think one of the main in-game reasons they collapsed—besides adopting Chamber way too late—is the fact that Tenz couldnt play Raze well.

Who are some duelists who excel at both Jett and Raze?

In tier 2, Oxy (at least after today) stands out to me.

In tier 1…Derke? Who am I missing?

Aspas is good with all the duelists (that are in meta), yes he can play neon (not as good as victor of course).

I think it's just a matter of habit, in ranked he played well but still couldn't use it because of LOUD's game planning

Zekken his recent performance was bad but he played jett with cryo chamber.

You have a good bit. I respect it.

I will say, Shahzam Jett 2020-21 is damn underrated nowadays. His op’ing on Split was dirty.

Twisten. His Jett is really good like we saw in Lock In, but his Raze was arguably even better and likely had his best performances on her

If so 2022 was the year to not put your jett player in raze instead of Chamber

Definetly Derke or Aspas is the main one that comes to mind

Right now I think we will either se a duelist covering both Jett and Raze or the jett player flex whenever Raze is needed

Well my thinking is as follows: If Tenz could’ve played Raze, then you would have put Sick and Dapr in flex roles and move Shahz, who is a natural OPer, onto Chamber.

(Obviously there were extenuating circumstances that sort sort of make this a moot point.)

ShahZam was never confortable on Chamber, also neither SicK nor Dapr were never confortable on Sova

If you already have SicK who actually play Raze, why not put him on Raze and make TenZ flex

Point by point:

1) I think if Shahz adopted Chamber from the jump, theres no reason he wouldnt of been good on the agent. If I remember correctly, he only played it once or twice professionally, one of those times with Dani as a sub.

2) You’re right, SicK and Dapr werent comfortable playing Sova, specifically on Icebox. Still, Dapr looked amazing on Fade during LCQ and I think the advantage of having Shahz on an OP agent outweighs the potential pitfalls of Dapr and Sick facing the initiator learning curve .

3) I agree, SicK on Raze and Tenz on Flex wouldve been interesting. SicK’s Raze on Bind was one of the best in the world.

There is a reason why ShahZam left the OPing role, he prioritize his IGLing over the OP and had TenZ cover that role

Yes, that made sense before Chamber came into the meta. Afterwards, im not so sure

If you recall, they had Dapr on Chamber at first. I think it was a crucial mistake to leave one of the strongest OPers in NA off a busted OP agent because you think Dapr might struggle learning Initiator.

Alfajer's raze was also pretty good no? on bind i think

Definetly, his Raze is good, I haven't see him on Jett, I think the time for his pickup was the best with covering Raze whenever Derke was on Chamber and with experience on sentinels whenever Derke played Raze

People saying Aspas are actually blind
He is an slightly above average raze at best, Loud is literally playing double duelist just to keep Aspas at his best agent (jett)

aspas insane play with raze: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDTvuUXd-Hc

one of insanest aces of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-PcV2BH2JU

playing neon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4aNIASfEjc (video from 9 months ago)

he already played neon in official games https://youtu.be/s7Txb8ms9Ts?t=21
they don't play neon simply bcuz they don't think it's a meta

Thank u for this! Watched the first two clips.

A lot of duelists who have a tendency to overheat need to start studying Aspas. So restrained, so clean.

imo he has a lot of gamesense on duelists but his aim peaked like 3 years ago and he got shaky on it after the g2 EMEA domination era ended and he doesnt play it anymore due to his whiffs.

Sayaplayer was a W Jett and above average Raze.
Aspas comes in close as an easy option.
Asuna is a W raze but an average Jett due to him not being an Oper
Haven't Seen Alfajer play Jett, his Neon and Raze is chef's kiss.

As of now tho, GarnetS, BuZz take it for me
And let's not sleep on Victor, the most selfless Fragger in the then Optic core.
His Jett on Breeze completely turned Optic's Breeze from dodging it to picking it while his Raze certainly was amazing.
To add to that, he's also played a great Neon and a W phoenix
