UK VALORANT disappeared

I've noticed a trend in Tier 1 VALORANT competition; from the inception of the VAL esports scene the amount of Brits playing in the highest rated teams has gone down with every single tourney.
Both TL and FNC fielded mostly British rosters but now all that remains in VCT are Soulcas, Boaster and Dephh (who has been playing in NA for the past 7 years now)
Other big EU countries like Italy and Germany don't even field a single player though their populations are gigantic in comparison to countries like Finland or Lithuania
I don't really consider it a problem; but it might have an effect similar to Korean CS; basically ruining its scene because of lack of interest thanks to there not being many Tier 1 KR players

Edit: I know T2 VALORANT fields a lot of British, German and Italian players; but I feel like some of these regions are also being "godfathered" by Riot; there's no separate league for Benelux or Poland, but Portugal does get its own league. I'm not salty about it or something, but Poland has a massive amount of talent in it not being given the chance to come up in T2, which some regions get as well.
I get that not every single EU country can have its league (we cant go around having 40+ VRL groups of course) but keep in mind that the T2 domination is largely thanks to these strangleholds on the competition due to there being Italian, DACH and Spain VRL leagues

RULE BRITTANIA!
No honestly; I would easily see L1NK, Mistic and even ec1s (with a bit of leniency- mind you) competing on teams like KOI or TH, I don't see them underperforming in T1 events

UK, Germany and Italy are well represented in tier 2 so whilst we might lack many big names rn we have good pathways to hopefully have some in the future

I completely agree, my friend is radiant and he played against aspas and less in ranked when they came to EU for LAN last year. He didn't die to less once and outduelled aspas on jett.

There's talent here but no one really cares enough to go pro.

because the fps scene in all the big countries where valo is actually popular are shit, like spain,uk,france etc,all the tier 2\1.5 cs players players from smaller countries are simply better and have more experience at a high level,if valorant was actually popular in cis, scandinavia etc there would be even less uk players lol

Can't comment for Germany but UK is a very console heavy country and honestly Italy in my experience isn't a video game heavy country.

I know Spain is known for having internet cafes where people go to play.

I feel like it's a similar case as CS in that not many people are actually into PC gaming considering the size of the country.
