What do you think about this mentality where you get eliminated and keep laughing?
I feel like it doesnt show competitiveness and honestly I just cannot cheer for teams like that.
I'd rather support teams that take the competition serious like NRG, LOUD and FURIA, even though I hate FNS I respect him for his will to win.
The fact you lose an important international tournament and remains happy is just unreal for me, I'm not saying you have to tilt and punch the desk (even tho that's cool) but at least don't laugh lol

Teams who won tournaments were very tilty and took the game serious btw (optic, loud, fpx)

Im kind of with you

I dont think losing a match should trigger a depressive episode, but laughing on stage as youre getting rolled is so cringe

To be honest, laughing and not thinking about the current scenario is a way to anti-tilt, I do it all the time and it works, I could get OP'd through the smoke and still laugh it off thinking how ridiculous it is, sure its a sign of not being 100% competitive but I like to think that it's just an anti tilt thing.

Genuine question : Why does it seem like so many Brazilian fans hate FNS? What did he do to the region

He had a long time beef with Brazilian teams on CS, called LOUD players trash midgame on masters Reykjavik and some people got triggered, but I'm starting to like him

when saadhak said he nearly cried during the match vs NRG he became the player I respect most in the game. when you have passion it shows, both personally and in results

i like teams/players that keep the same energy regardless of outcome. Zellsis, Xeppaa, boaster, benkai. Laughing/goofing off on stage, win or loss,is usually indicative of good mental composure, cause you know damn well they are tilted out of their fucking minds, as any top tier competitor would be. When you put that much effort into something and lose, sour emotions are bound to well up. Being able to laugh/shrug those off takes mental fortitude. The only time it's cringe is if you didn't try/put up a good fight.

Definitely. Not saying that C9s mentality is bad but if you want to be that trolly you need a roster who can embrace it. Everyone can but yay. One does not simply leave the arguably most disciplined roster in the world and thrive on a team who laughs when they are being reverse sweep'd. Hoping he finds a good home where his competitive mentality can thrive.

Sometimes when u are in a trainwreck its better to take it with humour. Liquid lost by so much that its impossible that they did not suspect it was not gonna go alright from the start.

this. it doesn't matter at all whether you choose or not to show your frustration, what matters is whether or not you channel it into improving.
