Bye Bye friends. Do OCE proud wherever you guys end up.
Amartya15 [#5]Tbh Australia is a developed region why there is no stability is too shocking
Isolated from playing any other region, along with expensive travel costs, and most importantly, a far too small playerbase given its isolation. No way to sustainably run it, unless it becomes popular locally, with the likes of the sports leagues here.

makes sense.
Pikmin [#14]whats gonna happen to bobo's spot in the regular season now?
just gone?
we will still be playing for the entirety of split 1 as a last hurrah
meteorite [#8]can someone tell me wtf happened
BOBO, one of OCE's top 5 teams disbanded. The reason why is unapparent but a few of the members have posted LFT's
rDeeW Has had an ankle injury since he won his first championship with wildcard and has sited distraction from play from pain in his ankle and distraction from opioid use to ease the pain as a reason behind his retirement. He has neither confirmed nor denied whether he'll come back to professional play.
because of RDW's retirement the team the rest of the team has agreed to split up. They will finish split 1 together though.
Crunchyy and Nozz (I think) are LFT together rn and everyone else is F/A. The duo are open to relocation which might end up with them joining Tixx and Autumn in SA.
luckypleb [#11]oce in shambles
as always
We're a very small. but very passionate community. Any news like this will shake us.
I know it's pretty taboo to call this a tragedy but in terms of the scene it kinda is. We were just getting used to having stability with the LPL x Riot VCL and one of the top teams is disbanding at the end of the split.
And what's a good tragedy if you can't make something of it. We always learn from histories mistakes.

I believe pl1xx got picked up by another org around the same time rDeeW announced himself taking a step back to recover.
with the three remaining members believing it would be in their best interests to end the bobo project after this split

Do you think oce can still grow after this?
