ORG HISTORY
-Zeta Division, formerly known as JUPITER, is a Japanese organization that is currently competing in several esports, most notably VALORANT
-The org was founded in early 2018 and has grown quickly in Japan as one of their leading esports organizations
-They currently host teams in Brawl Stars, Fortnite, PUBGM, Smash, and 3 separate valorant rosters: their main team, academy team, and GC team.
-They also are home to over a dozen content creators that produce a wide variety of content

ROSTER HISTORY

2020
-Zeta started as Absolute JUPITER, and brought together a roster shortly after VALORANT released in June 2020.
-The initial 5 signed to AJ were:

-barce
-Laz
-takej
-Reita
-crow

-Through the early stages of the ignition series, the team was dominant in many of their matches, only losing their first set in September.
-Rolling into First Strike, Absolute Jupiter rolled their way into playoffs and all the way to the grand finals, only dropping 1 event across the entire event

2021
-AJ were put into the group stage of JP Challengers, going 3-0-3 in groups (because drawing is a thing i guess)
-Their high placement earned them a spot at Masters, which was regional to just Japan. They would ride the upper bracket all the way into the grand finals, but get swept 0-3 to Crazy Raccoon, who were on their way to usurping the title of Japan’s best team
-Going into the second set of challengers, AJ would again roll through groups, not dropping a single map and qualifying for challengers finals for a spot at Masters 2, the first international tournament at the time
-They would lose in the UBF to Crazy Raccoon, and again in the Grand Final, and were denied a spot at Masters 2
-After this loss, Makiba would be brought in as a 6th man, and was frequently utilized in a rotating kind of roster.
-In the final qualifier of the year, and now rebranded as Zeta Division, the team would again fight their way through groups and again make playoffs where they would get the chance to qualify for Masters Berlin
-Despite an early loss to Northeption, Zeta would claw their way back to the Grand Finals, where they would finally beat CR in a 5 map brawl. Notably takej would put up 95 kills.
-At Masters Berlin, Zeta would go down in their opening match against KRU. However they would take a map off KRU in the process, making it Japan’s first map win at an international tournament
-Zeta would later bow out to Vivo Keyd, exiting Berlin in 13th-16th place. Due to their high placing throughout the year, they were invited to LCQ
-However, Zeta stated they were not going to play the APAC LCQ, citing they wanted to rebuild their roster of an entirely Japanese team and find new, local talent. Many questioned the decision at the time.

2022
-Zeta entered the new year with a fresh set of faces. Laz and crow were retained from the old roster, while sugarz3ro, dep, and TENNN would join from various other rosters. Going into the next year, the roster would be:

-TENNN
-dep
-sugarz3ro
-laz
-crow

-Zeta would cruise their way through the first stage of challengers, convincingly beating Crazy Raccoon in the Grand Finals to qualify for Masters Reyjavik
-In their opener at Reykjavik, they would get pummeled by DRX, losing by a combined round score of 5-26. However they would fight their way through the elimination bracket, sending home FNATIC and NiP in order to make the playoffs.
-This would also be the first time Japan would make it out of groups at an international event. They would lose in the UBQF to EMEA’s #1 seed, G2.
-Despite this, they would fight their way through the lower bracket, beating Team Liquid, a very tight rematch against DRX, and APAC’s #1 seed, PRX, to make it to the lower bracket final
-In the LBF against OpTic, Zeta would get swept 3-0, which many attribute to an incredibly strong individual performance from Marved. Despite their finish in 3rd place, it is Japan’s highest finish in any Tac FPS esport to date
-In addition to this, many players on the roster including Laz, TENNN, and sugarz3ro gained a large reputation in the community as being strong players (and a lot of twitter followers). Many consider Zeta’s run in Iceland to be one of the best Cinderella stories of VALORANT so far
-However, the momentum wouldnt last. Despite another good group stage back in Japan, they would be denied a spot in Copenhagen following a loss to Northeption.
-Due to their high placing in Reyjavik, they would automatically be qualified for Champions, where they would be put in a group with Boom, Loud, and OpTic.
-They would lose their opener 0-2 to Loud, despite playing a fairly tight match against them. Zeta would send Boom home in the lower bracket to earn a rematch against Loud, where they would barely lose Map 1 and be crushed on Map 2, ending their VCT season in 9th-12th. Loud would go on to win the entire event.
-In the offseason, they have played several offseason events including showmatches and small tournaments

ROSTER MOVES AND 2023
-Zeta have opted to keep their entire roster. Barce has returned to play a sub role. They are competing as one of the two Japanese teams in the Pacific League
-Assuming no further roster moves are made, Zeta in 2023 are:

-TENNN
-dep
-sugarz3ro
-laz
-crow
-barce

Dude's acting as if its Yoru's fault lmao, it takes 0.5s for Yoru to Tp, Chamber takes 0.1s(borderline instant on LAN). Playing Yoru like Chamber will do that to you.
