What's AP research?

You come up with a problem and you do research for a year and try to solve the problem. You turn in your research at the end of the yr and college board determines whether you pass or fail based on your presentation and research

Advanced Placement is a program run by the College Board (the makers of the SAT) that allows you to take special high school courses that can earn you college credit and/or qualify you for more advanced classes when you begin college. They are designed to give you the experience of an intro-level college class while you're still in high school. Plus, you can get college credit for the class if you pass the AP exam. An AP exam is basically a test of all that you learn in an AP class. You will typically earn college credit if you pass the exam given at the end of the year in May. (AP tests are scored between 1 and 5, with anything above 3 considered passing.)

but I am technically paying using my taxes.
If I were to pay the government 800 bucks a year
and my Aps were 500 bucks
I pay using tax credit and I only gotta give the gov 300.

I took APCSP my freshman yr, it was an EZ 5. I took AP euro, not World History but I hope it's fun.
Seminar was hell, it drained my brain cells. I did take AP bio, I originally wanted to take that class but I decided to replace it with networking however I still signed up for Ap exam and I had to pay to get rid of the exam and I didn't wanna pay so I took the exam. I got a 3, AP bio is heavy on statistics that is the only reason why I passed.

i only took human in my freshman year and it was light

CSP is light rn
World is hell for me
i had the option to take bio, but i don't really enjoy that class and didn't take it

If u take ap euro u can literally take ap world and get a 5 cause they are overlapped

  • More work
  • AP exam probably on the same day
  • What if the classes are taught at the same time
  • They also teach two different topics

U dont have to take the ap world class, u can take ap euro class and signup for both ap euro and ap world test. The ap world test is quite literally the ap euro test copy pasted if i gave u an ap world question u wouldnt be able to tell the differencr, also its free credit in college because schools accept both. Also they are on different days

NO its not the same, World starts off from the dawn of human while euro mostly focuses on political events. AP euro covers less material. Euro covers European history while world focuses on the world and not a lot about the euro. AP euro prepares you for AP US history so a lot of people take it. Its a lot of stress at the same time tbh

????? U must be confused since u never saw the ap world test. The college board actually made a change to the ap world test like last year to make the curriculum even closer to ap euro. Sure there might be like a 5% of the questions u dont know, but its an ap test so u can get a 70% and still get a 5. Have u ever taken the AP World test? If u did u will know its literaly the same thing. If u go look at the FRQs for the ap world test on some years they have the exact same question that was given to AP euro. Europe quite literally influenced the entire world so by taking ap euro u also have to study the rest of the world because europe influenced how other countries developed

I took AP euro but while I was checking out my friend who was taking AP world history, his curriculum was completely different.
