Calculate how many calories your body burns idly, or with an exercise regimen--then eat less than that calorie limit.

eat filling foods that are almost 0 calories such as shirataki noodles, eggplant noodles, zucchini pasta, etc
instead of having the usual coke, get a diet, although it has substituted types of sugars, it's basically almost water (learned this from my professor) BUT don't drink it like it's water bc even too many artificial sweeteners can be harmful. DRINK WATER
one thing that stands out amongst those who may be considered overweight is getting enough sleep.
cardio.
vegetables like bok choy and radish!
It's mainly diet and commitment.
i believe in you man, but hey, don't beat yourself up about how you look too much.
you can accept yourself but not in the way you are right now. (more so of a "this isn't me but I can change" mindset)

Start by eating your meals and never ever snack.
And if you cant help yourself. Use fruits to snack on, like apples. Or fatless, sugarless (just hard plain) yoghurt.

Never drink soda, even coke zero pepsi max etc, theyre still conditioning you to enjoy extremely sweet drinks and food even if technically they dont have sugar, tgey still have aspartame and other sweeteners fucking with your brain.

Drop the salt. People eat waaaaaay too much salt, you need to drink even more water to flush it out of your body so put less salt in your food.
Once you start with all this. You can then start modifying your meals.
Losing weight is all about your diet. You could be goibg to the gym for 7 hours a week, if you eat more than you burn you’ll never lose weight. You need to build a better rapport with food and respect your body enough to not fill it with trash.

Good luck dude.

fuck caring about your diet, cardio cardio cardio. i remember in quarantine i did a 1 hr run everyday and lost weight ridiculously fast. i didnt even care about my diet and ate junk from time to time. just make sure you actually put effort in that 1 hr, im not happy with my runs unless most of my shirt was drenched

track calories, stay in calorie deficit always, eat healthy food, drop sugar and fast food, do sports/ running/ gym, stay hydrated.
If you absolutely like something have it once a week but in fewer amounts

1) eat less(and none of that energy drinks, sotf derinks, sweet stuff and pointless calories like chips and other snacks. go for fruits and nuts instead)
2) gym (go for 3 days a week, but go, its better than nothing)

i went from 75kg slightly fat to 72 fit (+muscles - fat) in 3 months, after you get there its easier to maintain that diet. it feels like if i dont take my diet seriously i slowly start losing the drive to go to gym. but if i focus on diet, i automatically want to go to gym.

Play a sport, i do basketball 5 - 6 times a week. And I always enjoy going to practice to meet my friends. (I am 15 btw so maybe take my advice lightly).

Just count your calory. You just need to eat fewer calories than the number of calories you burn each day. Eat less high calories food like burgers etc and start eating low calories food. Exercise more to burn more calories to help fasten the process.

Nah every morning is too often IMO. It may just distract you and potentially unmotivate you, because unless you are really consistent your weight will go up and down depending on what you ate and when. Better to do like once a week to see actual results. At start checking more often may be good idea tho.

once a week is fine but its actually worse if you do it only once a week. Diet is all about getting a daily routine, and doing it daily is the best way to keep track. If you do it at the week, you can forget or just fall into lazy lifestyle easily or procrastinate to the next day etc.
every bodybuilder does it daily to lose weight and it works for everyone
if he tracks his calories and doesnt eat 2000 cal one day and 4000 the other, his weight will be steady day by day. If he eats same amount of cals each day, he will be able to know if he needs to cut or increase his calories or workout harder depending on how his weight travels at the end of the week

Well my suggestion would be fasting if you wanna lose weight quick, otherwise excerise paired with dieting can help in the long run

last year I transformed myself,
I went from 120 to 87kg , alot of it was eating less carbs, sticking to a stict healthy diet while doing a stupid amount of cardio
works miracles honestly, eat less unsaturated fats (trans fats), less sugar.
Black tea helps with losing weight as well so drink that if u need to put a little sugar it's fine but nothing more than a teaspoon.
Intermittent fasting at least 2-3 times a week greatly benefits you as well

  1. Calculate the calories you intake in a single day
  2. Calculate how much you burn throughout the day without exercise

If 1>2 then exercise in a way that you always burn atleast 700 more than the intake
If 2>1 you'll lose weight slowly without any dietary change
If 1=2 then just exercising everyday will help you lose weight

In all this don't eat sugar or anything that's greasy. Even something as small as a cookie can have 100-400 calories which is equal to 5-6km of walk/jog/run

You need to burn 7700 calories to get rid of 1KG of weight btw, so plan accordingly

I went from 90 kg to 75kg in less than 2 months just by eating less.
I felt insane hunger first, but as time goes on, eating half or even less the portion that I usually eat already made me full.
and I don't even exercise at that time

Cut your sugar intake, consume a lot of protein, eat fewer carbs, and decrease your food portion.
This is all you need to change in your diet, and if you have time for exercise, that's great.
but remember, exercise does help but how you eat and drink is what affects your weight the most.

also, at least eat twice a day, if you eat only once a day and you do a lot of activities, your body will try to save energy by slowing the metabolism. Making the weight loss much harder, and could potentially not lose weight at all.

idk why did you of all places on the internet and this planet go to vlr for weight loss tips but you got lucky

  1. changing the way you think about it should come before a change in your habits

    • dr. K a.k.a. HealthyGamerGG explains this very well in this video https://youtu.be/Oj5lA7FfUkI
    • the only 3 rules you need to change your life is: 1. don't chain watch informational / motivational videos
      1. reflect after watching the videos (so you actually remember shit and not just consume)
      2. don't act, be patient (to successfully change you need like 6 weeks)
  2. atomic habits - a guide that helps you create any habit you want a lot easier

  3. eat 2 high calorie meals per day - skip either breakfast or dinner (or lunch if that's your prefrence) and eat your two meals in a 6 - 8 hour period

    • this helps your insulin levels be normal
    • remember that the reason why you feel hungry at certain times of the day is not because you need food, but
because you have created a habit
    • I also found this helpful because I usually can't even eat that much in one meal so you end up eating less calories
      and therefore lose weight
    • the doctor in this video explains all of it very well: https://youtu.be/zgRiUq2IL0Q
  4. throw all the junk food (chocolate, high sugar food, food high in saturated fats, ...) from your fridge and pantry in the trash and fill it up with veggies and the good shit - just remember that all fats aren't bad, but only the trans-fats and the saturated one's are

    • if you don't know which foods are high in those things just look at the back of the food product and also read the ingredients so you
      know what you're eating
    • ted talk on it: https://youtu.be/Q4yUlJV31Rk
