So one thing Valorant taught me is that girls are also grimy chronically online sweatlords, which leads to a confusing situation. why are girl pros not doing well against T1 teams? when in ranked they seem fine?
No structure, shitty trainning, way too much shit to handle other than gaming, and a dreadful bubble.
The GC allows for visibilty but actually curbs fem teams progress, since they only play against each other , one tournament that exemplified this consequence was the Elite Cup in the brazilian scene where the fem teams got hard-countered, they werent in the pro meta, they were in their own, like a bronze and a gold, they play different matches when it comes to strats.
Mixed tournaments are what will truly help fem teams other than the basic of orgs giving them staff (Psychologist,Analyst,Head Coach,Assistant Coach, and throw some HR in there to make sure the coaches arent trying to get into the players pants) to help. The LOUD treatment basically, where the org actually focuses on management and the players only have to focus on trainning.
there are in valorant atleast, girls that play really well, i personally see in them the same problem players like Qck or Xand have, either ego or lack of proper mentoring, which isnt a girl thing since Furia for example is a prime example of both (God i fucking hate Furia), no proper strating and the vet players are arrogant af when it comes to recognizing mistakes and changing..
If more talented Pros like Fallen, Sacy, Saadhak mentor them in prime trainning we could see some pristine gameplay from fem teams in main tounaments like masters and champions.
im just tired of seeing good players like Daiki being shoved in the "special" box because its "visibilty" and "inclusive". fuck off, i wanna see her in a mixed team beating the shit out off gringos man

i read the whole thing, and let's go

you have TEAM LIQUID, MIBR, B4 AND GAMELANDERS
you can't say they don't have structure.
They scrim against male teams. They play the VCT circuit, but they lose to ranked teams. They can play all the T2 tournaments they want.
The matter of Daiki leaving the GC scene is hard, cause it's clear she is one of the symbols of the game changers in Brazil. She wants to play international LAN and win a GC trophy to prove she is the best. You gotta understand being the best being a symbol in the GC scene is important, while she would take a lot of more effort and time to have the same expression on the mixed scene (not because she is behind in skill btw). On one side you can inspire a lot of young girls to follow their dream, on the other side you can risk to ruin your career on a mixed scene where most of the times your performance depends on the whole picture.

I get what you’re saying, but you’re discounting the fact that the whole reason gc exists is to provide a place where women and other marginalized genders can compete and gain visibility (as much as ppl stupidly clown on their viewership it’s a helluva lot better than if they were relegated to tier 2/3). That encourages more women to play in the first place. The end goal would be what you’re saying, gc teams strong enough to compete on the main circuit, and that’ll only happen if there’s a large enough player base of women and nb ppl to compete in the first place. We’ve seen in every team game/sport that whatever population has the largest player base will normally produce the best teams, and valorant is no exception. By increasing visibility, we increase the player base, and thus the team quality in the long run.

Plus gc teams SHOULD be playing in coed placements like C9 white does imo. That also helps them become better teams.

TLDR: if we want to see female players on the main circuit, GC’s the best long term path there :)

Oh also gc teams provide female and nb ppl with more support like you were mentioning than any unsigned tier 2-3 team they would’ve been relegated to would. Still could be a lot better tho, I agree.

agreed with this. vct gc in no way "curbs gc team progress", it's just another tournament for them to join and gain experience in, the only difference is it is much more accessible. if they can showcase their skills there, more chance for them to be noticed by higher tier teams.

NB dont get affected, atleast male NBs, female NBs do though

idk if this is a bad take but i think some gc players are good enough for tier 2 or maybe 1 in the coed scene but they only play on teams with other gc players who arent good enough and thats why the team isnt able to play at that level

The moment I see a long text of wall from brazilian, it reminds me of trembo and the post no matter how serious turns into a copypasta.

Women practising with men is the biggest point. Unfortunately, then there are clowns on VLR who thought that a GC team not telling Maru that they are a GC team before scrimming was an ok idea and a valid enough point to hurt them with sexist remarks.

what? sorry the way this is worded is weird, what are you talking about?

Old story, basically a GC tried to scim Maru gaming from Korea. They scrimmed them 1 time. The next time just before the scrim Maru asked if they were a women team to which they said yes.

Maru cancelled the scrim basically saying we won't scrim GC teams (with mild sexist tone but maybe its due to translation cause the Koreans aren't the best at english).

Clowns on VLR defended Maru saying that a potential top 4 APAC GC team is nowhere close to a team than got their asses kicked in East Asia LCQ. Not even close enough to scrim them.

Basically, you don't give opportunities to teams that are trying to improve themselves by scrimming better teams in fact they should not even be present in the discord group intended for pro teams to find scrim with one another.

I think is a social factor
For mens is super normal not going out for months and for womens is something that not usually happens
Although both as a pro farming the game the same amount of hours, the time that they have playing before being pro is the factor that created the differences
But obviously that's broadly speaking and is not a rule, but it's happens
