Complexity

What's your guys opinion on Complexity I think they were a decent team at best they had popoffs, here and there but were like a T2 team that was just touching T1 and I feel like they had way more potential than that.

They've played in every single VCT tournament in NA and sadly have not gone to a single Masters event this year and have played around some small tourneys aswell these include:

VCT Challengers NA- Qualifiers 1 and 2

VCT Challengers NA- Playoffs 1, 2 and 3 (back in 2021)

NSG Summer Championship

MCT Premiership Season 3

Their roster was pretty decent in my opinion they werent bad players but also they weren't the greatest players, in the world either I hope they have a shot in the new Ascendant tournament and hopefully some get picked up for Franchised teams down the line.

Complexity roster:

Governor
RetrQ
jcruel
agM
truo

Hope Complexity has a chance to return one day.

Governer was the only real standout.

Truo wasn't a great igl and him and agm together were a really bad fragging combo.
Jcruel had some really high highs on chamber but some low lows
I liked retrq, he's very flexible(he plays like 12 agents) but was just a t2 player

I think scourge was better than RetrQ on an individual level but might not have been as flexible

They did what they set out to do, stay good in T2, at best they were a RO16 team and never did much to try to get better than that but win a few T2 tournies here or there, and sell your top players. They have created 4 T1 players(valyn, brawk, jonahp, c0m) and if that team as a whole stayed together with a duelist this would be a fantastic team, but that wasn't their goal.

we'll see if they stay in the scene as a T2 org but I wasn't a fan of their approach. They put way too much faith in Ruin to build a roster. The fact other orgs on the tier 2 level with far less resources did a better job at talent development as well as performance than Complexity is a shame. Akrew is a good example of that and they used Sasha who worked for Complexity previously to do it. Complexity always felt very arrogant in their approach to Valorant from day 1. Jason Lake started off shitting on other orgs who were signing big name talent in the beginning and those orgs ended up being right in building competitive teams at the beginning of the game and propelled them into signing better talent down the line as well as helped them make partnership
