Why does VLR not think people can get better?

Whenever I am on here I see people say "he sucks on this character" "his yadda yadda usage isn't good", etc.

Why does everyone think that because these guys didn't have a character/class mastered when they last saw them play it that they can't get better. Or why do people assume people can't learn new roles on a team? Seems like everytime someone is talking about a player's talent/potential they only factor in how that person plays their agent pool at the very last time they saw them.

People are judging Tenz' Chamber but he can easily get way better on Chamber or saying s0m can't smoke but he can easily learn to be a controller, it's not like valorant is rocket science

Going off what you saw last is fine, it's just weird that people think that what they saw last is a final product

it just makes more sense when trying to formalise a roster to associate players with certain roles and playstyles.
