Yayster himself

As more news about more members from Optic, such as Chet and Yay being allowed to search for new options regarding teams, I see everyone talking about NA and how he would be an excellent pick-up for 100T or EG and so on. But I haven't really seen anyone talk about how he could go to EMEA. What are the possibilities that he does end up on FNATIC, Team Liquid, or any EMEA team, and if Yay himself does decide to move to an EMEA team, what do you think will happen? Will he become just as successful and have the same consistency as when he was on Optic and Envy, or do you expect something else to happen?

I don't know just some food for thought, while we all waiting patiently for the rosters to be announced.

FNC and TL already have Derke and Jamppi so I think they’re less likely to pay a large amount of money for a better (but not massively better) player on that role. If an EMEA team picks him up, it’ll probably be one of the newer or less successful teams

His tweet does mention that he is open to EMEA offers. So he may end up there

This brings even more questions as if the org would want to build around him or just make him the last essential part of what they believe to be a contending team. These are just some fun questions to throw around while we wait for everyone to decide.

This is very true, as they still believe themselves to be contenders with a good player to replace Mistic. I'm just excited to see where he goes, and how everything unfolds.

I doubt he will join EMEA. Realistically he probably joins NRG, EG, or 100T

EMEA is honestly the best for a player atm. If you are someone like dephh who's originally EU or even someone like bcj, victor or ayrin there are chances you might not be considered in one of those five teams. Whereas the options in EMEA league are much more open. You have 8 English rosters you can try in them, Out of which 5-6 teams need atleast 3 new players

Yeah the thing is he's yay. But the only issue might be his buyout. If that is the case and some rich eu org is ready to throw some mils then he might join EMEA after all(5% chance of that though)

Yay def isn’t going to EMEA, Liquid and EMEA were the only choices and they already have chambers that are near yays level. 100t could go crazy and get him because no one on any team is guaranteed to stay so will could get dropped. Also EG def going to have change and I could see a yay pickup. Really any team could pursue him because we have no idea who’s gonna be on each roster

I feel like he will definitely have offers but it really depends on if the original OPTIC 5 can stay together because it would be a no brainer to just stay with them. It also depends on what NA teams offer him and who's on the roster, If it's a roster he beleives in then he will just stay in NA but if the offers from EU are better I'm sure he wont mind to move.

100T could pick up Yay for Will and FNS for Stellar
