São Paulo Kickoff Tournament

so the next big international event will have 30 teams and will be unique, but doesnt have the name "Masters" or "Champions". The question is, what do you guys think its most valuable to won, a normal masters like Berlin or Reykjavik or this Kickoff Tournament?

i feel it will be regarded like how all international lans are. the winner is the best itw

i dont know, this might sound really stupid but I think the kickoff tournament doesnt matter, i cant remember if its part of VCT, if its not, then its completely useless cuz its right after the offseason ends, and no one will be doing shit in the offseason soo... its mostly like minte said, they gonna get lots of clout if they make a deep run but it doesnt really prove who is a good team since its right after a huge break off VCT.

masters and champions are pretty much the same - standard international tournament with teams in form. kickoff tournament will be all new rosters with zero experience together. I'll bet some really good rosters stay together possibly under a different org and dominate kickoff, and everyone else will be horrible (even tho their rosters will be insanely good)

Kickoff is good for the region to getting more spots in masters/champions

Masters is more valuable. The Kickoff Tournament is just a one time tourney and it only to find out who’s the winner of the offseason

the kickoff would probably be more towards allowing all franchised teams to show what they got to the main audience so that they can see if they perform the same against their opponents. I believe the order of value would be Master < Kickoff < Challengers.

Btw, it would be nice for Riot to call it VCT Genesis or VCT Inception
