Reyna Buff concept

Give her 2 (or even 3) orbs as usual. She can dismiss once without a kill, but if she does she cannot dismiss again in that round, she can heal up, unless she's in Ult.
I think this opens doors for many plays as you can take duels and dismiss away even if you do not get a kill at the expense of not being able to do it again.

Another idea :
Same as above but, she can dismiss once without killing and it takes away 50 or 75 HP.
So you can selectively choose whether to commit to a gunfight, or lose 50-75 hp reposition and then duel them to fully heal yourself.

Any thoughts?

maybe take 30-35hp are more fair, this way she can be 1tapped by Phantoms too :)

And Sheriffs as well (doing eco rounds being more interesting)

This seems a little less like a buff and more of a rework to make her more viable in pro play.

I think you read it wrong, he said she can do it, I don’t think he is talking about removing the regular way of doing it so if you don’t think it’s worth then just don’t, no nerf.

What I see really cool about this buff is that Reyna can take a fight and if she sees she is gonna lose she can escape like Jett or Chamber, but if she sees she is gonna win she can then use the orb normal like now to win space

The only problem with this is that if you don’t do it right there wouldn’t be much difference between that and the old Jett dash (both dodging without previous planning)

I think it’s a really cool idea tho, why about having 3 orbs, and simply adding that possibility to take the dismiss without a kill but consuming 2 orbs and losing 50hp, that way you still have something after to dismiss if you kill or heal.

Precisely. My thought process was to make it so the player has to choose between committing to a fight and winning, or dismiss without a kill, but reposition and get the kill and heal up.

That's why I put the concept of health reduction if you do it without getting the kill.
Jett has one directional dashes, chamber has TP, Reyna can get the most flexibility by dismissing while getting the info, but that should come at a cost so I thought the health reduction seemed fair. Although the amount of health being reduced can be tweaked.

honestly, in ranked reyna is pretty popular, and if you ask most ppl(average players) they think reyna is fine or ever overpowered. In pro play I dont think anyone misses reyna

I was a cypher main in the beta and man do I miss him too :/
I still play him occasionally because sometimes you can catch people off-guard but he's still pretty bad
