Why does VAL Casting Suck?

Casters in English Valorant are pathetically boring. However the Brazilian/Latam and Japanese TOs have amazing casters no doubt.

The casters feel so dead, unable to create hype like CSGO desk does. I can't watch English streams unless someone's doing a watch party.

Does everyone feel the same?

You can’t please everyone I guess. The casting is getting so much better, most of the casters in Istanbul have been good, map 1 of DRX vs FPX with panpoc was an example of how good the casting can be

was it hype because of the caster or because of the game being played?
or a bit of both

I’d say both, they’re very very good casters, probably the best at casting those types of games, but it was impossible to not hype up that game. It was a match made in heaven

I have never seen a watch party that wasn’t boring cringy garbage other than sliggy.

Best casters are casting other games. Its like with players. All washed players switched to Valorant and same kind of goes for casters. Not saying they are bad or washed in that way, but if you think about it most Valorant caster duos come from other games where they weren't the best outside of maybe Bren & Sideshow (2nd best) but OW is in mud rn. Like even Pansy who is one of the better in Valorant wasn't top top in CSGO. At least not recently.
