FPX (emea come)

FPX went to copenhagen as underdogs, rated #2 in emea and no one took them seriously. They lost to fnatic in upper bracket. Then get suygetsu and all footage from the tournament before that is irrelevant because the team plays different with suygetsu compared to with seider. No one could anti-strat with no footage on the team. FPX looked like gods because no one knew how to anti their setups in Copenhagen. Coming into champs FPX is the most studied team with everyone paying close attention to their setplays, defaults, and their entire gameplay style. This is why no team has repeated and why FPX won't repeat even if they get passed kru.

FPX placement prediction: 5th-6th

Based, also goes to show the supremacy of OPTIC for placing 2nd, 1st, and then third in only 4 events.

You just have to repeat in your head that LOUD would have won every single game that they've lost in their history 99/100 times they are just too unlucky and if you repeat it a lot in your head things happen

Bruh didn't know pearl footages of fpx existed lol and fpx made a huge mistake of letting breeze remain instead of haven / icebox.

And
Fpx thought their comp or their breeze is good after beating a team ( prx who insta bans breeze mostly) which played a double duelist comp KEKW ( neon and yoru 💀 ) .
Prx was leading initially and fpx was made to believe that their attack is good in breeze BUT THE FACT IS prx comps in breeze is just good for attack.

It's one of those rare days yesterday where their thinking and macro failed . And xset played it well and capitalised .

If you let them in playoffs they will get top 3 easily no matter what because of the double elimination format. You're so wrong.

I disagree with your very reasonable and unbiased take "shao_show". However, I do think they are a top 4 team on paper. I think the spotlight that comes with winning a LAN is too much kryptonite for any team regardless of how talented they are. I would not be surprised with an optic at copenhagen-like performance and having fpx get 3rd. I just think the international field is too talented. And it's too hard to innovate for FPX to repeat. optic, loud, xset, prx, drx, leviatan, 100t/fnatic are all talented enough to realistically win the event. So I think that puts the odds too low for FPX.

aLL aRe tAlEntEd eNouGh tO wiN a tOurNaMent lmao what exactly is your point? All are top teams from their respective regions , they all can win if they play properly but i get it you're just mad that fpx 3-1 ed Optic and optic is yet to beat an EMEA team .

FPX was exposed to be no different from any other LAN winning team. FPX was underestimated at copenhagen and took advantage of it. During champs no way they place higher than 3rd. And by talented I mean S tier. They're just as good as fpx or any other contender. And to pretend fpx is favored over them after being studied this much would be a lie for you to claim. Fpx isn't winning champs.

I don't agree. FPX was only underrated because they had to play with a sub. And I could be wrong but I have heard that they are good scrim team so I don't think any international team was underrating them by any means. Also FPX is really hard to team to anti strat because they change their stuff all the time. They anti strat others so anti strattting them is hard. I have heard Sliggy and Bacon talking about this multiple times on stream. And I understand your point of not knowing how they play with Suygetsu but you had all the footage from EMEA and on top of that they didn't have much time prepping new stuff with Suygetsu or even Shao anyway. They only had couple days of practice after weeks of not practicing together if I'm not wrong.

And yes you are right that they are more studied now, but their first games haven't really shown that. They 2-0d KRU who are pretty good on maps that have never been the strongest for FPX. And yesterday they lost Pearl that is completely new map where teams are still figuring out how to play it and where some regions just end up being better because the region's meta just works the best against others (like NA right now). And FPX completely rolled XSET on Fracture playing exact same comp they did in Masters 2. And Breeze is in weird spot for FPX and they have only 2 officials with this current comp and feels like its in bad spot for them right now. Maybe their worst map. And that was also just bad from FPX in individual decision making, aim etc.

i don't agree with you, i don't feel that these teams focus on anti strating as much as to play their own game but i could be wrong

but here's what i think, if and only if an EMEA team at least 2 manage to qualify to playoffs i feel like they will be more than ready to get a rematch against the teams they lost to, and i just trust FPX to be completely prepared to take the crown as i still think they have the most fraggin power as a team in the tournament
