best of the outcomes from the pools without region overlapping (that i could see, post if u can find a better group stage with the pools below):
A: FPX, LEVI, XIA, FURIA
B: FNC, DRX, 100T, KRU
C: OPTC, ZETA, TL, BOOM
D: XSET, LOUD, PRX, EDG

here are the pools (according to seeding and how regions are seeded for the past events)
Pool 1: FPX, OPTC, FNC, XSET (top 2 from na and emea)
Pool 2: LOUD, LEVI, DRX, ZETA (top 2 sa and top 2 ea)
Pool 3: PRX, XIA, TL, 100T (top 2 apac with na and emea lcq)
Pool 4: KRU, FURIA, EDG, BOOM (Minor region lcq teams)

Pool 2: XSET, LOUD, LEVI, DRX (NA 2, top 2 sa and KR 1)

Pool 4: KRU, BOOM, EDG, FURIA (Minor region lcq teams)

(changes - xset are not in pool 1 and are in pool 2, prx move from pool 3 - pool 1, zeta move from pool 2 - pool 3)

A: Farmer group for fpx and lev unlikely upsets happen.
B: Really close group. FNC and DRX are favored to qual but 100T and KRU could easily upset.
C: Farmer group for Optic and TL. Would've been hard if Zeta had tennn :( but in these circumstances its unlikely an upset happens.
D. PRX and Loud are favored to qual but EDG and Xset could easily perform

I think pools should be

top seed from large regions: FPX, Optic, PRX, LEV (because Latam beat brazil last qual)
top seed from smaller regions and one second seed from large regions: DRX, Zeta, LOUD, FNC/Xset
mix between large region LCQ winners and large region second seeds: FNC/XSET, Xerxia, 100t, TL
small region LCQ winners: FURIA, EDG, BOOM, KRU

if you pick one from each group and say no EU/NA/SA can be in the same group they look pretty balanced

Pool 2: LOUD, LEVI, KRU, FURIA ( South American teams would be separated )
Pool 3: XSET, XER, ZETA, FNC ( Solid teams )
Pool 4: TL, 100T, EDG, BOOM ( non-SA LCQ'S )

my pools are about seedings

I don't think pool two is realistic, because we all know the first match of groups has to be DRX vs Japan, and if they're both in the same group that can't happen

also drx vs japan isnt forced, its prob just luck from pools

maybe pools looked something like this at that time:
copenhagen:
pool 1: OPTC, FPX
pool 2: LOUD, DRX
pool 3: NTH, KRU
pool 4: XIA, GLD

iceland:
pool 1: OPTC, FNC
pool 2: KRU, DRX
pool 3: ZETA, TL
pool 4: XIA, NIP

all the stuff from minor regions dont matter if drx and japan are in different pools
fnc,xset,prx levi were in playoffs already
