That statement is subjective and you know it. So many streamers have been forwarding the narrative that EMEA is always “boring” and there’s no way around it. In fact the viewership recently will tell you otherwise. There has been a steady growth so far in EMEA yet no one wants to bring it up, therefore, it’s not “boring” yet it’s still subjective to the viewer since people still watch it. If that was the case people wouldn’t be so passionate about EMEA and just watch csgo.
- The viewers they have is less compared to other regions.
This is because EMEA is way more spread out than you think. Turkish viewership would obliterate, BR and any APAC country’s viewership. most EMEA teams are international, therefore have spread out fans.
3.Giving Minor region with tons of players+views means more money for them
If that is the case, why don’t they give Turkey/CIS (I know about CIS don’t bring it up) a slot? It’s not like they are any worse than JP or KR or LATAM south/north. We would see amazing potential and growth beyond those regions simply because the player base is so high which compliments the viewer. I guarantee you if Turkey had a slot for champions or masters in 2021 they would be a region which is up to par in APAC but they simply don’t have the chance. Just look at FUT, they won VRL finals and there wasn’t a whisper of social media presence from riot.
It’s clear RIOT is defiant anti EMEA and there’s no rebuttal to prove me otherwise.
