fr tho, i think a lot of the soulsborne games (elden ring, dark souls 3, sekiro, bloodborne) def fit this list, they have just the best soundtracks, boss themes, etc.
Also fun fact: one of elden ring's dlc bosses (divine beast, dancing lion) has its phase change linked to its theme, so it always phase changes at a specific point in the track.

Soulsborne games all have amazing sound tracks and are top tier. Not my number one favorite personally, but they are all elite and match the aesthetic that the games have perfectly.

Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII has a good sountrack but for a better experience, the Remake/Rebirth versions sound better.

Unironically Pokemon games have really good OST, pretty ad hoc to the experience. HG/SS, Platinum, B&W.

personally I really like the soundtracks from Wipeout, especially Wipeout 2097.

I'll admit I'm biased, but Minecraft unironically has some of the best IDM ever made.

I also recently discovered Chants of Sennaar, the game's score is incredible for an indie game.
