I am glad they get these opportunities through VRL (which they might not get with franchising thanks to Riot) but respect is something to be gained

In a way of course but compared with APAC the results are not the same as making a run into the Grand Final of the worlds biggest VAL LAN
you dont compare a farmers league and a tier 1 region league who has 3 masters
pretty sure MENA doesn't have direct slot to masters/champs
keep in mind also that this the first time a MENA team play on an equal PING to EU
I'm not in the business of comparing results. I'm in the business of putting perspective, as a region that had considered a minor region, as MENA in perspective is practically a minor region to EMEA.
