So one of the teams that reached finals last master is gonna get eliminated tomorrow

Who will it be?
And obviously it doesnt mean theyre bad
Its just that valorant is completely random ( Yesterdays match Guild vs Optic couldve gone either way)

But does it mean that the valorant format for LANs is not that good?
I mean im not an optic fan at all, But optic won last LAN, they should get some cushion
Like in CSGO major, top 8 teams used to get Legends status for next major or something like that.

Yes exactly

No. Don't protect anyone from competition. Avoiding groups is already bad enough.

csgo dont use that format anymore because they realised it was inferior to their current

If Loud can shut down yay like Guild did. Loud 2-0 / 2-1

the meta changes every tournament, it is illogical to say we need to give previous winners an advantage. the advantage they get is a spot for champs (almost confirmed spot if you finish top 2)which is a very good thing. its just that optic won last tournament with way inferior competition.

i dont think there were any major meta changes from last masters tho. anyways sucks one of them will fall so soon, but at least we'll get a banger match tomorrow

Meta always shifting, formats dogshit, skipping to playoffs is already bad enough.

Optic probably gonna bounce back ngl, they played okay just yay whos typically one of their two main x factors had the worst performance of his career, safe to say it prob wont happen again.

Granted Louds players also had an off day too they even said so in an interview (Sacys).

Regardless this rematch should be a banger regardless of who comes out on top and probably will springboard into playoffs by beating guild or kru in a rematch.

I mean it is true that optic are the team to beat and they are going to get counterstratted hard bc theyre defending champs, but they also did get beaten in NA playoffs so i think its fine that masters event are somewhat independent from each other. After all there is no guarantee that the metagame would stay the same after 3 months, and I think no direct seeding for winners suits the constantly evolving esport of valorant, unlike cs that is very static and wouldnt change very often or very much in general.

Optic get madge buff but Loud get revenge buff. I have no clue who takes it

Loud at least got a map but was shaky throughout. Optic did not even get a map but was solid. This shit is confusing.

If yay plays like normal, I think optic take it. If he's still missing a moniter, then Loud win easily.
