Personally when i am feeling down about something i like to deal with it on my own i.e. i don't share my problems with friends or family. So i order lots of comfort food (I don't drink) and knock myself out, and usually after a 10 hour sleep I feel better :D

first problem is ordering lots of food that'll just make you gain weight and that doesnt help with being sad

Am someone who's very mindful of her calorie intake, so if i do a splurge one night I'll fast the next day.

Binge eating disorder is not healthy and its not about the weight its about the anxiety and the health risks.

I don't have a disorder lol i just do this whenever am feeling down ranging from 1-4 times a month

It's not bad just make sure if you hit a rough patch and are having bad days more frequently you aren't doing this every time bc I used to do the same thing but it developed into a disorder when I was dealing with depression

Yes I always make sure i don't get too reliant on food for my problems and have learnt to keep my limits. Your concern means a lot i hope you're doing okay now!

Its not a disorder but things like this are called binge eating episodes and are not healthy or sustainable, it puts stress on heart by eating a large amount of food and creates an unhealthy habit. My father would experience these episodes and he died because of it.

I'm really sorry about your dad. I have a small appetite in the first place so even my 'binge episodes' aren't that unhealthy, and it certainly isn't a habit i just do it sometimes when am feeling down.

Same..its so sad..i do shar prob with my friends but rn they are busy and in different schools after 10th class sadge...literally i rarely talk to my old friends rn
